The sliding Besic

Imagine, Mo and Lunny as enforcers in the same team.....not the best use of resources and certainly not a serious suggestion, but it does hark back to bygone days where we had a more 'industrial' look about us. Thing is, now that Lunny is developing into a more cultured player than many thought possible, who's to say what Besic can evolve into under Wilder and Knill's tutelage? You can never have too many good players, and our recruitment is certainly pointing in that direction.

Freeman's position is his to lose, but can't see much chance of that happening unless his quality drops through the floor, well impressed with Luke's contributions so far, he keeps the ball moving, doesn't allow us to become stagnant, and he looks a steal at the price we paid.

Never seen a player slide into tackles so often. A strange performance, I think he would be a high risk of a red card in the Premier League sliding into challenges like that.
Imposter!!
You are clearly NOT 1973Blade
Otherwise you’d have seen Tony Kenworthy, the absolute master of the slide tackle, and would have mentioned him.
Bloody charlatan

Played well was one of the four MOM nominations and got absolutely stuck in in a game that many would've just drifted through on loan from a prem club on 40-50k a week.

Doesn't get sent off, wins a lot of tackles against a dynamic midfield and Blades are writing him off as an "enforcer" and someone whose not good enough at football for our team after playing once and actually not doing bad at all.

Some fans are just desperate for someone to call wank.

At no point have I written Besic 'off'. I'll support any player who wears the red and white stripes, and only a clear lack of application will contribute to that support lessening. I loathe the idea of scapegoats, and only recently have we seen a meltdown over the selection of Lundstram in the team that played Bournemouth. Subsequent games have shown that Lundstram's selection was best left to those who work with the player on a daily basis.

I look forward to seeing Besic contribute to the Blades as we make every effort to secure our place in the Premier Division. As someone who values the defensive arts, Mo Besic should have an important role to play for the Blades during this campaign.
