To think people say TV has got worse, seeing that picture takes me back to a time of three channels and Cannon & Ball (they even allowed them to make a film for fucks sake!)

Them were the days - and close down at midnight. We knew how to make our own entertainment then - no play stations, mobile phones, computers, texting, 24 hour TV etc etc

Not any tosspot film either, but a murderous remake of a Will Hay classic. Everyone involved should be strung up by the gonads with cheese wire. Just about the worst film ever!

I am sure it was earlier than that when I were a kid and managed to dodge bed time.
National Anthem at close down and all that.
Watching the dot and listening to the beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep - it hurt your ears.

Unfortunately I missed out on the computer games, mobiles, puters etc. for recreational purposes.
The Green 'Un was the S24SU of the day.
