It's also Saudi culture to chop off people's heads and hands in public, not allow women any rights, bomb Yemeni civilians (with hardware sold to them by our morally bankrupt government), bankroll extreme Islamic terrorists (Al Qaeda, possibly Daesh), and enslave civilians of many nationalities who are recruited to "work" in Saudi Arabia. It's a fucking odious regime, one of the worst the world has ever known, and it has no place in the modern world. The "prince" is part of this regime and the sooner he fucks off away from SUFC the better. His money, if he has any, stinks. So many people tied themselves up in knots about the moral issues around what Ched Evans did or didn't do, but that was nowt compared to the shit which this twat and his "royal" accomplices get up to. There's a whole lot wrong with Britain at the moment, but you have rights which the "prince" wouldn't recognise in his own country. We can get to where we want to be without the likes of him.
Man City fans don't have a problem with it, and their owners are even higher up the Saudi food chain.
Saudi is what it is, and you're right, the US Government in particular has traded it's weapons for an unlimited supply of oil. But the US being the US isn't just happy with Saudi Oil, it wants the rest of the middle east's oil as well from countries who are not so willing to play ball with them. So tensions are deliberately stirred up and then Saudi and Israel is backed with American weapons to keep it stirred up.
Not sure what that makes the USA, Satan as the Muslim world calls them is probably right
citys owners are not Saudi they're quatari.
It's out of order to judge a person based on the actions of the country they were born in. You should judge them based on their content of their character.
The British empire has historically done some some horrific things, and the UK has been involved in some very controversial wars recently where innocent people have died.
As a British citizen I don't take any responsibility for that, nor should I, as its completely out my control.
The Prince is not in a position of power where he can influence foreign policy or overturn cultural norms, therefore he shouldn't be blamed for such.
Nope, not quite.
Getting warmer.
Man City's owners are Emirati.
Man City's owners are Emirati.
Bought the DESSO.
What's it like to be so perfect, well balanced and knowledgeable?![]()

I'm not making accusations against him personally, and yes, this country is a very long way from being perfect, did and continues to do some unpleasant and dodgy things. He may be a good and righteous bloke. I agree that football isn't about setting some sort of moral high ground. However, I do worry about foreign ownership in English football generally, and about clubs getting mixed up with and being financed by potentially "grubby" cash. Last night's posts were influenced by the headiness of the victory, and the subsequent beery celebration! Apologies for this, and for any personal stuff, but not for my concerns about where the Prince's money may come from, and for the fact that he does "represent" Saudi Arabia.Apparently there are 15000 members of the royal family and over 5000 princes. Being a prince doesn't necessarily put you in a position of power in S.A.
Do you have any evidence or basis for your accusations against him? I'm genuinely interested.
Haha, the world is really going to the dogs if I'm regarded as knowledgeable!![]()
Oops! Yes, it did get personal and shouldn't have done. Please see my post a few minutes ago apologising for this. I'm not a fan of offensive posts and am not proud of last night's posts - lesson learned. As they say, "beer in, sense out"!It's out of order to judge a person based on the actions of the country they were born in. You should judge them based on their content of their character.

As I said, I agree with most of the principles you wrote in your post. He also can't really get away from the fact that he represents Saudi Arabia, and it perhaps could be said that unless he renounces some of the policies and culture of Saudi Arabia then he is tacitly approving of it. However, I'm not sure how easy it would be to do that without making himself an exile or even a target. I have no idea where he stands on any of it, but am prepared to give him the benefit of doubt.I'm not making accusations against him personally, and yes, this country is a very long way from being perfect, did and continues to do some unpleasant and dodgy things. Cheers Hamburg, you've put what I was thinking rather better than I did last night after an afternoon spent at Northern Monk brewery (in Leeds!).As I said, I agree with most of the principles you wrote in your post. I think the Qatar heads of state actually own Paris St Germain.
Their national airline is Qatar Airways, who sponsor the shirts of PSG and Barcelona.
Its the Abu Dhabi (part of the United Arab Emirates) heads of state that own Man City.
Their national airline is Etihad Airways.
There’s a bit more depth to it than just the CIA trying to cover it upYou forgot to mention about murdering dissident journalists, chopping them up and disposing of the remains, and then getting Uncle CIA to try and cover it up for you.
Pi squared ?If the Prince is X, Y and Z what does that make the man who gave him half the club for £1?
I do have a problem with it. Just to make it clear, I also have a problem with anti-Muslim fascists here and everywhere!
Or he's one win nearer the pot of gold.
Could do it in a smaller font ?If he wants to go all chansiri and have his name on the seats he will have to build a fucking big stand
Sorry. Was in a group hug. What about anti-jewish lefties?
UTB & FTP
I know the part timers always come out at times like this but could it be this??.
He actually does care about the blades after all and wants the best for us??.
Unpopular opinion I know but the tweet just might mean:; he’s a happy blades fan like the rest of us??.
I’m prepared to give him a chance!!.
Tin Hat at the ready. UTB. COYRAWW
I'm gonna give him the benefit of the doubt and take that tweet as it is. Fair play that he's said something, but like all of us, I think, I'd be happier with McCabe back in sole control.
