So you're suggesting the strategy of the Board members is limited to keeping CW out with no other options on the table, contrary to the wishes of the owner, while Rome burns around the Club? As Sean Thornton says Bettis isn't a Board member and has no executive decision making so the detractors have to be the Lawyer, Accountant, the daughter and Club secretary.

The owner is the owner and has the responsibility to make the final call even if it doesn't coincide with the wishes of his acolytes. Its his money. His reputation at stake not theirs. Advisers are exactly that, they advise but don't ultimately take decisions of this nature.

If there is an element of truth in what you are saying then PA is not the man I thought he was. It may explain the dithering of the last few weeks. It puts us in a considerably worse position off the field if he has adopted a democratic committee approach to Board management. It just doesn't fit with his persona. We need swift decisive action, wheres Kev McCabe when you need him :D. Disclaimer that last sentence is said tongue in cheek.
 
Are we waiting on the Prince to get off the next flight from LA before everything is announced? Just put the poor guy out of his misery.

99% Sure he'll have already been told. The hold up seems to be around the team that replaces him, getting all their contracts done so it can all be announced at the same time.
