Stick to the pi55 in a squeezie bottle, you know it makes sense (and is good for the completion). Just don't start chuckin Richard the thirds around.

No, you'll just be subjected to a load of self righteous forum finger wagging...
What exactly is "self righteous" about putting respect for the law and concern for public safety ahead of personal enjoyment and self gratification with total disregard for others?

Probably the whiny, sanctimonius manner in which it's done. Like now for instance.
It's actually done on a computer keyboard so you have no idea of the manner of delivery.

Your apparent complete disregard for the law of the land and the welfare of your fellow citizens however, would indicate that you are a total waste of a space in any civilised society.

Trust me, I know you're whining. It permeates through cyberspace like a fart in a stiff breeze.
Plus I remember you wibbling on a thread a couple of weeks ago when everyone else was joking around. You made yourself look rather silly as I recall.

Keep waggin' that finger though, it's comedy gold.

I refer you to every thread on the subject of pyrotechnics.
A veritable jamboree of Mary Whitehouse-esque sand-in-vagina-ism.

I've better things to do lol.

People are allowed an opinion you'll agree.

Mine is that they might be fun when used proportionately and safely.

Our lot never use them safely and the smoke is particularly dangerous to those with breathing difficulties which those without breathing difficulties won't truly understand.

It doesn't help either when people air their legitimate opinion that smoke bombs and flares have no place in an enclosed stadium and get dog's abuse from those that think it is

Is it really worth the risk?

Wouldn't argue about the manner in which they're sometimes used. There were dickheads using them at Port Vale. However I was more bothered about the dickheads outside throwing bricks.

I agree with you there as well and that's the issue.

Non-combatants in either scenario have no choice about whether they are hit by a brick or a chucked flare or smoke bomb or ketchup or glasses of piss ....

The dickheads don't give a sh1t

And taking smoke bombs and flares into grounds is actually illegal (The Sporting Events (Control of Alcohol etc.) Act 1985)

Oh I know they're illegal. Which is why I've never used them myself. Incurring stadium bans and getting into trouble with the filth is never a good idea.

I just can't get particularly worked up about the issue, and I've almost been hit by such devices twice. Plus I think they look good from afar.

As far as I'm concerned, people with Sky subscriptions are doing far more overall damage to football than people with flares. Legal or not.

Sky damage football I agree but they don't damage people, flares do damage people.

People are far more important than football

By the way is this a 5 minute argument or the full half hour :D ;)
