In a way they will have sharper minds than fans at the moment. Business to them, this scenario will have been anticipated and planned for (one hopes) where we have years of hurt and baggage to deal with to move on.

Incomings and outgoings, hitting the refresh button ont Rumours Mill from Sunday for the next two months will let us know if the plans are to our liking!

I'm in a different line of work, but one that sometimes involves negotiating agreed statements; omissions are often more significant than inclusions, so I agree completely that there being no mention of Wilder in this statement is very interesting.
How are things in St Pauli? I like what I read about the anti Nazi fans there.

Hang on, wasn't Wilder the one who told Princeh last time round he wanted last say on transfers? And part of reason he left was that he didn't like the direction Prince were going?

How are Wilder and Knilly gonna get on when "data" tells them their 'ideas' are in the main not that clever? And suggests to Wilder a player that is teetotal? Who doesn't know his way round The Moor?

He will fucking combust.

He can combust then. Your boss tells you to do something, you do it.

If he wants to spit his dummy out he knows where the door is. It worked out well for him last time.

I read there were around 100 people from COH sports at the match on Saturday. I raised my eyebrows at that

Actions speak louder than words but I like it.

It will be interesting to see how the new owners/investors approach the new season.
they came in at a time where we were challenging for automatic promotion and backed Wilder with funds and players that all will have hoped were enough to give us that final push over the line. 3 games in 1 week cost us dearly and we were resigned to the playoff lottery.
The final was always going to be a lottery that was ultimately decided by (IMHO) a wrong decision by VAR which deprived us of a second goal that would have demoralised Sunderland. I believe that if the goal had have counted, we would have gone on to be win comfortably.
It didnt go our way and Sunderland, despite not posing any real threat other than the 2 goals, that we should have done better with, ended up winning the game.
Now there is a general belief that we will lose the likes of Hamer, Vini Souza and Anel with suggestion that Burrows, Cooper and Arblaster having suiters.

It is possible that we lose the above players. My view is that if they want to leave, let them but get the best possible price for them and work quickly to replace them. This will be the test for how serious the new owner are to get us "established" in the Premier League. Will they provide backing (additional funds?) to support another rebuild? Do they have confidence in Chris Wilder to do this? the next few weeks may give us some idea.

It is also possible that they will try to keep hold of all of the above players and supplement them with a few new players. Now this will give more of an indication of their intent because we will not have the funds generated from the sales of these players to reinvest. The owners/investors would have to provide funding for any new additions. Are they willing to do this? Only time will tell.
This would be my preferred option as new players aren't guaranteed to fit in and gel with their new teammates. We were lucky this season that things seemed to click fairly quickly. A few solid additions would be less of a risk than another full rebuild.

This summer should be a show of what the new owners are actually about, from a operating standpoint, the club will have been tied into contracts and red tape last season, plus trying to make changes logistically would have been extremely tricky during the season.

I take the statement and the video on social media as a metaphorical sigh of relief and rolled up sleeves attitude from the owners, because they now have the time to run this club exactly how they wanted to.

I recall Bettis setting a 2 year timeline for Dore back in January. If we are sticking to that you'd expect to see plans and the like soon enough.

I agree, I think something is brewing,

At end of the day, these owners have spent alot of money investing in United and don't want to spend the nxt 3 or 4 seasons stuck in the championship,

So if going in a different direction, with recruitment, data driven etc, players with pace, staying fit, with a different manager and coaching staff, then so be it

Obviously something wrong when our best striker, ty Campbell can only play 65 minutes in games

My only slight disappointment in the boards message, was they didn't mention Dore training ground directly, or cat 1 academy status

Didn't realise transfer window opens this Sunday

Its going to be an interesting 2, 3 weeks, i feel
Ur the blades
