Been away so might have missed it but can anybody tell me what's happening with Flynn. Thanks

Wouldn't be averse to giving K.Wallace another go. I thought he was one of our best players when he played at the start of the year.

He's also young and versatile enough to improve. Cover at fullback is probably needed too.

Wilder said he wasn't shutting the door on anyone, so he has a chance if he can impress over he summer.

Freeman did well at Pompey:eek:
He did well at the lane in his first spell and the first few months of last season with little to no protection... Was our only attacking outlet at times

There is more chance of me developing a 12 inch cock than there is of James Wallace being fit for longer than 20 minutes or Coutts putting maximum effort in

We'll conclude this discussion when he's finally shown the door

So Dr Slug ,you have the medical records of these 2 players do you ,what stage are they at and what injures are they still carrying ? Or was it just an excuse to get a 12 inch cock in there ?

No I don't, Mrs Coutts. It is just my personal opinion that i have based on what i have seen for the last two years

Of the players transfer listed by CW ,which one if any has any chance of impressing and getting a place in the side and maybe another chance ?
Im saying James Wallace and maybe Coutts ,cant see beyond that unless Freeman really knuckles down.
Freeman - out on loan before August is out
K Wallace - brought in from the cold, what's to lose on a 21 year old, left footed defender who's 6'1" and on low wages
Woolford - paid off
J Wallace - stuck with him I'm afraid, makes no economic sense to anyone but to keep paying his wages and hope he gets fit
Coutts - Wilder is bigging him up in the hope someone takes a punt. I think he'll still be with us and flitting in and out of the match day squad till January at least

Woodford is the one I want shut of the most, not just the worst on the list but probably the biggest earner too.
Is that official? Have we paid him off?

sorry , these are just my opinion of what should happen. Woolford must surely be on his way. No input in the 23/25 man first team squad, only getting games in the u21 teams. wilder couldn't make it any clearer and there must be a league 2 side prepared to take x% of his wages and offer a 2 year deal

James Wallace has been here over 2 years now and i think ive covered more yards than he has by going to the bogs for a half time draining of the lizard. He really is in last chance saloon now re his future at the Lane. Ive no doubt if clough the daft chuff hadnt given him such a daft 3 year deal he would have been released along with all the other deadbeats after last season. Potentially hes got a great chance to be a star for us...realistically i think hes been out for too long and he isnt the same player he was. Coutts for me is the annoying one. He has ability...hes just an unbelievably lazy sod. I saw him at times last season strolling back when we needes bodies back and his performance at Southend was horrific. I now have little time for the lad. I can forgive lack of ability but not lack of effort.
It's a pity the players who perform poorly aren't exposed to live forums to explain their ineffectual performances.Perhaps that's me being too idealistic but be interesting to see them squirm in their seats.

Says something when clough chooses 34 year old Lee Williamson when you would have thought he would be in for coutts knowing a few probably wouldn't be necessary. We should bring scouts in to eat watch him at 5 aside training

Woolford was signed as a free agent, having left a small club that had just been relegated.

Coutts was signed from one of the Championship's biggest clubs, who signed him for significant money.

I think you could treble Woolford's wages and he still wouldn't get near to Coutts'.

Both utterly shite, mind.

Watch the highlights of the Gainsborough game and you can see why no one wants Woolford

Has there ever been any public explanation from player or club as to why Woolford has been so terrible?

Hammond's legs had gone, plainly, and Coutts has never recovered from his injury (and seems to be lazy with it), but there was no indication in Woolford's past performance that he would be that bad. He'd been a decent (but not great) player at League One or Championship level for a number of years. What happened?

I also see Ryan Flynn has found a club - Oldham. No doubt he'll follow the Jon Forte route and play much better than he did at the Lane.

I'm already prepared for Flynn reaching Ronaldo esque status once he bangs a couple In at home to lowly opposition.
