Ok, if the team in third is on 80 points and we're one point above them, we're on 81 points. As they are third, there can only be two clubs above them, us and another. That means we are in the top two. The top two get automatic promotion.

There were two teams above them before we went above them, meaning there are now 2 teams above us

If you are in a 100m sprint, and overtake the guy in 2nd, you go into 2nd place, not first

If we are optimistic, we could say we would lose at least 5 games just because we will suffer from a bad decision or one of those days where it won't go in.

So 79 points from 29 games. 25 wins 4 draws minimum? Unlikely.

It will be very close, with 4/5 teams all up there battling for the top 2. There will be some clubs who hang around and others who fade away like Bury have recently. Injuries will be key, so who is the luckiest.
