So clearly we want to Win on Saturday, but what might other results mean for us depending on the Wendy result at 3pm, assuming promotion is the prize, rather than being clear in second (@SwissBlade !!!)
Wednesday Win (they are 2 points ahead of us)
Clearly the worst result for us. Realistically we need to beat Stevenage in this scenario. A draw only helps us if we also draw against Exeter and Wendy somehow conspire to lose against Wycombe. If we are drawing going into the last 10 mins, you might as well go for it and lose as stick with a point.
Wednesday Draw (they are level on point with a much inferior GD)
A win puts us (as good as up), a draw doesn't really help, unless we manage to lose at Exeter and Wednesday only draw with Wycombe. Again you might as well go for it.
Wednesday Lose(they are level on point with a much inferior GD)
Clearly the best result for us (duh!). A win puts us up (FACT!), and whilst a draw doesn't seem like a decent result, it would mean we only need to draw against Exeter to secure promotion (assuming Wendy don`t beat Wycombe 12-0). Even a loss is not fatal, as a win at exeter would see us promoted.
