Pointless signings in my opinion. Would have much prefered we put the money together and signed 1 decent player, maybe a punt on a Che Adams like player, young upcoming striker thats scoring for the laugh in the lower leagues.

Leonard - Never plays and with the way we chased him for a whole year I thought he'd definitely be a starter
Holmes - Never plays
Wilson - Bobbar
Evans - Don't rate him

...and it begins...

Evans is playing great if not eye catching; Wilson has more energy and moves better than any of our other strikers.

Get a grip fella.

Lundstram is miles better than Evans. Evans cannot pass it forward. He just kept hooking it down the line to absolutely no one.

Leonard is here to provide cover for a few positions so that’s okay.

Holmes been injured

Wilson I’m not keen on

Evans seems the best of the bunch so far. Not been impressed with the others.

Passing the ball sideways doesn't class as 'great' to me, watch Lundstram compared to Evans, at least Lunny actually tries to play the ball forward even if it doesn't come off.

Evans was the best midfielder in L1 when at Wigan. If you’re not happy with his addition then ask the Chairman why he didn't give Chris 3m to replace Coutts and another 5m to get a striker in.

Weren’t we going to spend in the Championship? We haven’t even spent the Maguire and Walker money in full, nevermind the owners investing.

Evans has looked a decent signing IMO.

But as for the others if Holmes and Leonard aren’t good enough to start this one when are they?

100% guarantee all signings made have improved the squad and it’s a squad you need in this division.

Out of all of them Evans is the only starter though.

However I think that Wilder as teed things up nicely for the summer transfer window as we have the squad (assuming we don’t lose anyone) so we will be looking at bigger signings in a few positions .... over to the board.... could be serious promotion contenders next season... if given the backing

Buying lower league players is always going to be a gamble. Some will make step up, some are bound to find it a step too far. After chasing Leonard for so long I expected him to be better and make a impact. Maybe this recruitment policy has run its course and we should be looking at players with experience of this league in future ?.

Give only Evans has played regularly, Wilder isn't impressed with the performance of the rest himself.
Season in danger of fizzling out along with a warning sign over next season.

I don't believe we chased Leonard for a year just to provide cover

Is this the first time you've posted utter bollocks ?

The signings we made in January would have been outstanding signings the January previous in the League below.

We have taken a punt and only Evans has shown anything yet. Now we are not going down and unlikely to go up Holmes and Leonard need to be given a run so we can see if they are good enough to offer anything for next season, I am afraid we can’t leave it until October to decide as we need players good enough to start in August.

Think of you look at our form since they came it's been a bit better for having them compared to our wobble before Christmas.

Wilson hate I don't get. Does he want to be here? No. Is he a miserable get? Yes, but he'll score goals given a chance. All you can ask from a striker.

He's not like our other strikers, who are always available for a pass and play for others but sometimes a selfish striker is needed.

Thought Wilson looked a lot better than Ched. Just needs games. Evans has a good range of passing but Lundstram is the same player - seems daft playing them both.

I will be the last one off the Leonard bandwagon. I think he'll come good

Not a clue on Holmes yet

Agreed. I don't think we've seen the best of the new players yet?. I know Leonard is injured so that hasn't helped. I'd hoped that all the new players would hit the ground running but it seems they need more time?. The most pressing issue now is in the boardroom?. We need the situation sorted out one way or another quickly. I just McCabe can shed more light on the situation at this rearranged meeting?. My fear is that nothing will have changed!. UTB

Usual over reaction. Admit Leonard hasn’t pulled any trees up but evens has been OK and in Holmes only start at Wolves he was our best player. Other than that we’ve seen very little of him. I think Wilson will be an asset when he gets a run of games. Calm darn.

So why isn’t Holmes playing then? Wilder is seeing him everyday in training and didn’t think we was good enough to start today against average opposition and when Duffy wasn’t available.

Wilder and the players have to do it. Nothing at boardroom level should affect what's happening on the pitch. We can't sign anyone so we have to do with what we have. I can understand Wilders longer term concerns obviously but the players as things stand shouldn't be affected. The consistency is lacking throughout the squad. That's what's costing us.

Evans has been doing ok for me but he does give the ball away a lot. Some of his passes today were seemingly to players that only he could see

Every single player has given the ball away - that's the feature of every game we've lost/drawn. Today was no different - as was Hull.

Evans is a huge upgrade on Lundstram and anyone who doesn't think so really is not watching closely.

Evans gives the ball away a lot though. Just as much as Lundstram and he got a lot of stick for it

Totally disagree. Lundstram was playing well before Evans signed and I've seen nothing at all to suggest he is a 'huge upgrade'.

What does he offer differently that Lundstram does?

We've got enough options with Leonard, Fleck, Duffy, Brooks & Holmes without either of them. Evans got off to a promising start then faltered. Never rated Lundstram.

Yeah I know what you mean pal... I think Wilder purchased wisely with the budget he was given in so much as we are now pretty much covered in every position.

Like you say it’s down to the organ grinders now to decide what they are doing.

We’ve gone as far as we are going to go now.

I wouldn’t even class them as the same type of player.

Evans is a great passer and keeps the game ticking over.

Lundstram has a good range of passing but doesn’t pass and follow the ball. However he is more athletic and tracks back/tackles a lot more.

We should have won’t the game comfortably today but made a whole host of bad decisions in the final 3rd.

Nothing like Hull when we never got anywhere near their box.
