I really hope we can get a win tonight. We need it. We've looked decent but disjointed without Coutts and the right backs. We're unbalanced at the back and between Basham at RB and Lundstram at CM aren't always as switched on. I'm desperate for a decent performance tonight. These are good tonight and I want to dick on them.

More to the point, I'm gutted that the fickle media are noe talking about their side more than they are ours now. They're talking about them in the way they were us a few weeks ago. Other people's opinions aren't everything but the fact that we were the division's sweethearts a few weeks ago was a direct result of how we were playing. We need to get back to that.

Their defence is huge so we should forget high crosses and get the wing backs fizzing balls in on the deck as well as Duffy for our strikers to latch on to. We should be more mobile than them.

I'm more interested in how we respond to this on the back of the last few results... if the crowd get behind the boys and we continue as we have first half we should easily turn this round.

Decent crowd for a freezing fri night on Sky. Few teams in this division would match it. Their away support is poor for a team in 3rd.

Yes now is not the time to lose faith in the team. Their keeper is motm so far. That says it all. Kicking towards Kop second half. Crowd need to raise it. A bit quiet so far

football is so frustrating at times & more pissed off about than result than i was v norwich for different reasons as its almost Birmingham dejavu again. i cant believe we lost that game. in infamous words of david lloyd / bumble in Zimbabwe 1996. "we flippin murdered them & they know it" if its boxing match its wouldnt have seen 1/2hr. Bristol city werent in 1st half so 1 sided we should have been 3 or 4 up at half time. i think we hit woodwork 4 times, 1 off line, few close over bar, keeper made a few world class saves, then the multiple chances 2nd half + penalty we shouldve had & with 2nd attack they score on stoke of half time. but i learnt very early on in champ. you have to capitalise on the pressure or you will get punished. but we have no luck whatsoever & you need luck in sport

but john fleck is a certain red card. from what ive seen its 2 footed & in the air. if i had seen that on match of the day wouldve said absoulte no brainer. no coutts or Fleck does worry me now for next 3 games because leaves a huge hole now in cm area
