So back to BDBL and the visit of Bolton Wanderers. A match, on current form, which we should be negotiating with ease. With Bolton winless in their last 12 games on the road, and defeats in their last 5 of those. Home banker if ever there was one..... Be careful Blades...

Anyway...

Any team news? :)

Unchanged starting line up?

Or better to use the new boys from the bench?

Some considerable attacking talent now available

On one hand I'm very confident of a good result this afternoon. However anything is possible in football so we just have to play to our strengths and ensure a disciplined performance. Joking apart on the obvious potential banana skin, I think this could be a pretty strong result, so I'm going with an optimistic 4-0.

Fantastic if hogan and madine could score and kick start their Blades time

I normally leave us alone for betting purposes (and should in LMS ) but Blades over 1 goal, over 6 corners, Bolton over 2 corners (they'll hoof it forward and nab a few) 10/3 :)

We absolutely cannot afford anything other than a win today

One game doesn't make a season, but not winning today could have a serious knock on effect in terms of confidence

We quite simply have to win, and if we play well we will, but if we're struggling we have to find a way to break through and win

Defeat today would be a disaster

I'd still rather be in their position, to be honest.

I would take a 1-0 scrappy game with our goal coming off the side of Madine's nose!

More goals would obviously be a bonus :D

Don't get to confident, they came here last year not having won away for 12 months and beat us 0 - 1. Let's not get deluded like South Barnsley.

No, but let’s avoid the equally repugnant Bladey Inferiority Complex and take pride in our club. :)

League Goals this season

Sharp 18
McGoldrick 10
Madine 0
Hogan 0

Let's not try to fix what's currently not broken. New boys from the bench, please.

I knew we’d get this from the Bladey Bill Protection Society. How dare we recruit people who might take his place? Neither Madine nor Hogan have had much opportunity to score, have they? Both are good players. Proper non-Bladey Blades don’t put personal favourites before their club. They don’t care who plays or who scores so long as we get the right result.

Of course Sharp should start at the moment. He’s in great form. If that changes so does the selection. It’s not a difficult concept.

Stop Ameobi and they should be reduced to set pieces.

An early goal as ever would be very excellent.

Line up wise, probably get McGoldrick back in. Not bothered whether it's Duffy or Dowell to start.

Play the first team please Christopher, you know the one that contains none of the new signings.

Is Bash suspended?
Not seen it mentioned but he’s had 10 yellows
