I watched it, the last one, and then 30 odd of the previous 38 too. I wonder the same.

Do you think we create enough? I can’t recall chances being made and our forwards being wasteful.

The answer, as you know, is no. But isn't that a different discussion? Though there were a few games last season - WBA immediately springs to mind, -where we created a decent number of chances for Olly Mc in particular to scuff straight at the keeper. I'm running out of patience with the idea that it's not their fault someone else is shit.

As someone who had us down for an 8th place finish in the poll, you can take it as read I more than understand how transitional this season is. But does it have to be this boring?

From what I’m seeing nothing appears to be created. Runs are made and the ball goes backwards, sideward or any other direction apart from the riskier killer pass. We’ve lost our nerve and so far dropping down hasn’t regained it. Brewster in particular isn’t making as many runs, and I’d assume the reasoning is what’s the point as the ball isn’t going to come. What we end up with is forward all coming deep to try and get on the ball when we want them going to the other way. Even when we get wide we seem to take it in turns to shit ourselves rather than play a dangerous ball across the box.
What I’m hoping is we start to take more risks. These new loanees come in without the monkey from last year on their backs and play those balls which in turn help restore everyone’s confidence. I think the old guard still have a role to play but we need some fresh blood to return some energy and attacking intent.
If we get those forwards more regular chances in my view they’ll start to take them, restoring their confidence which is on the floor currently.
