The internet is worthless without football - discuss

I have found myself regularly checking my phone only to find Coronavirus stories.
I switch to sport and no new stories, even the cancellation stories are getting old.
I found myself asking - what is the point of the internet without football?
For me - there is no point.
It’s as if the web was designed only to spread the glory that is the beautiful game, might as well close it down without it.
I know some might say look at the benefits currently for online shopping and health information but for me that’s a weak argument.
Come 5pm on Monday I expect to hear Boris either close the internet down or announce the start of the football season.
