I've just renewed again, this will be my 40th year as a season ticket holder of which I have only seen them in the top flight for 5 of these. 24 years in the second tier. It will be the tenth season in the third and just the 1 season in the fourth. Pretty bad really.

The bus pass entitlement isn't 65 for men anymore, it's whatever the retirement age is for women, so currently it's lower than 65. I don't have one but discovered recently that I qualified 18 months ago.

My dad bought our first season ticket in 1971-72 for the BLUT. He never had a season ticket before and we werent able to sit in the BLUT for the previous season's home games against Leicester and Luton so since the Luton games he decided to buy BLUT tickets for the rest of the season and this was a big reason why he decided to buy season tickets for the first time. We carried on being BLUT season ticket holders until 1977 (a son of my dad's friend used my season ticket if I was unable to go to a match due to being at boarding school- from 1973). My dad never bought a season ticket again until 1990 but he used my 1979-80 season ticket if I was playing football (or cricket) that clashed with Blades home games. I didnt buy a season ticket again until buying the half season ticket in December 1988

was going to go the DD route as suggested by Linz.. waded through the SHOCKING website.. you can't do the DD thing online. hmm. called office .. waited in a queue.. you have to come in today.. hmm. what if you don't actually live in Sheffield love?? you never thought of that did you?? another SUFC shambles.
