I've just renewed again, this will be my 40th year as a season ticket holder of which I have only seen them in the top flight for 5 of these. 24 years in the second tier. It will be the tenth season in the third and just the 1 season in the fourth. Pretty bad really.
Top division 12.5%
Second tier 60.0%
Third tier 25.0%
Fourth tier 2.5%

Btw it's not the hope that kills you these days, it's the hope that there'll be something to have hope for .
 
My dad bought our first season ticket in 1971-72 for the BLUT. He never had a season ticket before and we werent able to sit in the BLUT for the previous season's home games against Leicester and Luton so since the Luton games he decided to buy BLUT tickets for the rest of the season and this was a big reason why he decided to buy season tickets for the first time. We carried on being BLUT season ticket holders until 1977 (a son of my dad's friend used my season ticket if I was unable to go to a match due to being at boarding school- from 1973). My dad never bought a season ticket again until 1990 but he used my 1979-80 season ticket if I was playing football (or cricket) that clashed with Blades home games. I didnt buy a season ticket again until buying the half season ticket in December 1988
 
Its becoming clear that obtaining an SUFC season ticket has now merely become an excuse to extricate an individual from family duties on a Saturday afternoon, instead of being the "golden ticket" to glory and excitement that we all hope it would be.

so.. 2.30pm have a change of heart and drive to BDTBL and sign up.. i looked at the kid behind the desk (they had Sky Sports News on) and say what is the score?? two fucking nil. they'd only been playing ten minutes.. can i get a refund?? :D

When I went today there was almost a sympathetic look in the cashiers eyes, when I was about to pay the £612 I thought he was about to ask are you sure you want to do this :D
 
For anyone having regrets about not renewing or for those who can't wait to secure a ticket for the huge games against Accrington and fleetwood they go back on sale 16th May. :rolleyes:
 
ive got mine for back of kop £173 for a student who else has got theirs just wanna see how many people on here have got them
 



Renewed, front of Kop, £288 but not received yet. Always takes a while for some reason.

I've got a white seat for the first time ever, this could be a sign.
