Never heard of him again?

Since the Prince has been here we've been the leagues big spenders in every JTW and we've also kept all our best players.

Don't believe there's been any policy change. However weren't there rumours of a big announcement in the new year regards investment/ ownership etc.

I ran into an old Blades mate at the Bradford game, not seen him for a while, he said that there is some unrest between McCabe and the Prince, although he didn't go into detail. He also said that McCabe is desperate to find a buyer for SUFC. Not exactly earth shattering news, as we all guessed (or knew) the above, but his sources have always been spot-on.

Apologies. My original message isn't clear. It was Scougall who said that if we play 442 he isn't getting a game.

Hold on Blades78, slow down, slow down. I'm simply not having it! Scougall reckons he isn't getting a game but yet its Kevin Gage that is being frozen out?

This club must think were stupid! It's dropping into place now! They are both in the executive box, right? Scougall cant get into the team, right? Gage feels he's frozen out? They are 'looking for a way out next week'? 'Next week' just so happens to coincide with the window being open? Kevin Gage at 5'10" can leave through the window but Scougs at 5'7" will be unable to reach?

Oh and 'frozen out' my arse! Warmest December on record!

Well thank you very much McCabe! Tinpot club at it's very best! Kevin Gage 51 years old and not played for 15 years! I can only imagine that it was some deal that Cloughy was trying to force through that we are now contractually obliged to honour!

That's me done! o_O

Murphy & Maguire ??

Our game at the moment is very much based on solidity. Coutts had a good game yesterday, especially second half, but we shouldn't underestimate the importance our solidity, determination and hard work had on his (and our) performance. We earned the right to play. First half was pretty scrappy, but the early goal helped us, as did the crowd. Bradford were intimidated and frustrated, outmuscled and

When Bradford tried to get forward with more players in the second half, we remained aggressive and broke up their attacks which gave us more room to play in and Coutts excelled with his composure, playmaking and combining very well with Brayford and Sharp.

We're not world beaters yet though, and it will be a real challenge for Adkins to gradually introduce more skill and pace into the team. Picking Hammond and Coutts in central midfield with Adams or JCR coming in on the right would change quite a few things for us.

Definitely agree our game is based on keeping it tight ans hard work, and that's great because it's clearly working, but I reckon we could sacrifice one of the current plodders in midfield and allow a bit more pace, creativity or box to box type. Basham is probably the most likely to be dropped if Adkins does change it, but whilst we're winning I guess there is little point in changing it, I'd just like to see something a bit different signed in January, we really lack pace.
