It wasn't a criticism of his ability far from it , unfortunately for us but most for the lad himself his body won't allow him to play most of the time .here's hoping the treatment and advice he got in Germany will benefit him and us .utb

Fair enough. He's a quality player who, in my opinion, we need to keep. He was a class above anyone on the pitch yesterday and someone Peck and Blaster should strive to emulate.

He isn’t worth £25k a week for 50% of the season. Given you expect some unavailability it’d be like he was on £40k a week. He’d have to be fit for at least 12 for me to consider it.

As others have said, he's very clearly a very good footballer and makes a noticeable difference on the occasions he's playing. If he's good enough for Ancelotti, he's good enough for us.

Well he managed to last 1.5 games before getting injured again, I'm guessing we'll not see him again now for weeks

Looked like he tweaked his hamstring stretching for a ball. I'd agree with most other players there might be a chance of starting the next game but his injury history suggests otherwise.

His level is so far above Arblaster's at this moment in time, that I doubt he'd have been subbed for him at HT for any reason other than injury

He was subbed after HT. That said I didn’t think he played especially well anyway. And Blaster looked better than he has done recently.

I've lost patience with him just like I did with Brewster, they take everything they can from the club but not really bothered about giving anything back, Brewster took 7 million from us in wages...Davies won't be far behind either, I like Davies when he plays, can tell he's played ( or been associated at higher level), but im done with him......I hope he can prove me wrong......

We take too many gambles as a club on Rodwells, Morrisons, etc. There is a reason many of them stop getting offered deals with clubs.

Frustrating but I don't think you can blame him for being injury prone, must be very frustrating for him.

Looked like a groin injury to me - fact he immediately went off / knew something was wrong isn’t a good sign. Like him as a player but can’t offer him a new contract with his injury record.
