Like against Blackburn, we just stopped bothering?Their fans have nothing to shit themselves about
If we score 2 goals, we'll stop. It's the usual way under Wilder

It'll need to be a bath for you both to fit.If we win I'll join you in a tin.
Just larger than a tin.So you’re saying Sanguine is a fat bastard?
January 1965How many times have the pigs ever won at the Lane? Post war can't be many
well wednesdays won once at bramall lane in a league derby in 55 yearsOwt can happen in a Sheffield derby. Keep your powder dry and hope for the best.

SemolinaIn a bath of rice pudding with Sean Thornton? People would pay good money for that.
wrong they count for everything, that's why we 3rd and they fending off relegationYou do realise form, squad strength, class, momentum and league position count for nothing.
See Only Fans…….In a bath of rice pudding with Sean Thornton? People would pay good money for that.
I hope they approach it like we approached Leeds away.
Well, Sean would, but beyond that I'm not sureIn a bath of rice pudding with Sean Thornton? People would pay good money for that.
It’d need a lot of rice pudding to cover me tbh.Well, Sean would, but beyond that I'm not sureIt's certainly cover the rice pudding costs.
Damn you and your facts!! We only like pearl clutching. And people slag Wilder for bigging up other teams (at least Boro and Leeds are half decent)I really don't see where this tag about being great one minute and woeful the next.....they are barely average.
West Brom apart their other victories, (Plymouth, Portsmouth & Coventry) have come against teams in and around them.
They have played 5 of the current top 6, losing 4 of them scoring 5 whilst conceding 16. They also lost 3-0 away to Millwall who had not won a game at that point and drew with Bristol City, QPR and Swansea.
If any other team was coming to BDTBL with that record we would be expecting a comfortable victory. As others have said, play the game, not the occasion and we win comfortably, let them worry about us, we play our normal game.
They’ll be pumping it down the channels to Gassama from minute one. Stick Gilchrist on him and, with his pace and love of a good heavy challenge, I think that will be a dead end for them.Yeh think that's a certainty.
They'll sit back in numbers trying to frustrate us....then trying to sneak a 1-0 win.....on the break or from a set piece.
We've said this before....but 1st goal is key.
Surely if that was the case then we shouldn't have done the double over them in the 91-92 season. I am old enough to remember both and based on form, league position and relative squad strength, we were massive underdogs that season.wrong they count for everything, that's why we 3rd and they fending off relegation
2 shots 2 goals in that quarter final at the lane both by wilkinson i think they were under the cosh from start to finishJanuary 1965
September 1967
February 2009
Also in the FA Cup
January 1954 (replay)
March 1960. My dad and my Uncle Ronnie missed the match because that day was the wedding of their other brother (who had no interest in football)!
Twice actually 67 and more recently when Blackwell fucked up oh and my first derby game early 60's 2-3The answer is once since the 50s... But, delete the post quick
Both overdue.A pig pal predicts brewster will score, and they'll get a penalty.
He thinks they're going to score their penalty too.
He didn’t play a huge amount of games for us. A very limited player.Just out of interest & I haven't read the entire thread , did wilder ever play in a Sheffield Derby? I'm going to say no , but I could be wrong .
And I think the gulf between the sides in terms of quality was bigger then than it is now. But I don’t know how anyone can be confident before a derby. In fact, before the final whistle and the game is won! I remember one game we were 3-0 up at half time and cruising and they pulled it back to 3-2 to make us sweat. 2009 or 10, I think.Surely if that was the case then we shouldn't have done the double over them in the 91-92 season. I am old enough to remember both and based on form, league position and relative squad strength, we were massive underdogs that season.
93 appearances...He didn’t play a huge amount of games for us. A very limited player.
93 + 12 in 2 spells 105 apps ...Not totally insignificantHe didn’t play a huge amount of games for us. A very limited player.
