I watched it back on Bladesplayer last night.

Riley did fairly well without having too much of an impact.

O'Shea was quite neat and direct but didn't have the sort of influence Duffy usually does.

Beyond that, don't let anyone tell you we were lucky because that's utter bollocks. We were without doubt the better team, had more chances and controlled at least 70 minutes of the game. After that it was even and then they had the best of the last 5 minutes or so, last 10 minutes at the absolute most.

Individually, Lafferty and Lavery did quite well, but the best player on the pitch by an absolute mile was, you've guessed it, Fleck. Barely got tackled or gave the ball away once.

thought they both did ok, but not gonna shift freeman and duffy on that evidence.

I thought riley was a bit light weight also, but still early days, both could be v important in the long run

Riley did everything you'd expect of a full back. However wasn't as effective going forward as Freeman so back to Keiran on Saturday, but good to see he can slot in if needed. Pleated one really good cross for Done I think to head at goal.

O'Shea is another good option in midfield, just like Caruthers. Physical and more direct than Duffy. Again I'd start with Duffy on Saturday, but the thought that both O'Shea and Caruthers might come on fresh for the last 30 minutes is significant.

Whatever the stats say we had 75% of the ball till about 70 minutes, when in fairness act hey had "a right go", as Chris might say
