Once a Blade, always a daft ****
Micky Adams and Kevin McCabe had their meeting this morning
Has anything been announced yet on R.S. regards Mickys immediate departure?
Come on! I expected all the itk'ers to already know what went off before it even took place!
I for one hope he stays and clears the decks.
Incidently, he has accused a number of players of being cheats. By that he means they've cheated the club. He says some have gone, some haven't.

MICKY Adams, the Sheffield United manager, has launched a stinging attack on some members of his squad ahead of today’s summit meeting with plc chairman Kevin McCabe.
Adams, whose relegated side waved goodbye to the Championship with a 4-0 defeat at promotion hopefuls Swansea City, appeared to suggest that personnel problems behind the scenes have contributed to the South Yorkshire club’s demise.
Despite refusing to identify those concerned, Adams told The Star: “Ever since I’ve been here I’ve been having to fight fires. And often people.
“Some of those have gone. Some are still here. But I’ve got no time for those who don’t take their profession seriously. Who cheat. I know that is a strong word.
“I’ve tried to do something about it. I won’t have people doing things that, as far as I’m concerned, are to the detriment of this football club.
“I’ve tried to be honest and open. I’m not one for sitting on the fence.”
Adams, 49, is scheduled to meet McCabe, United’s major shareholder and most influential figure behind the scenes at Bramall Lane, to discuss what, by his own admission has been a “difficult” campaign, this morning.
Seemingly unsure of whether those talks will mark the end of his turbulent five month reign - “Mr McCabe will set the agenda. I’m not going to prejudge what might be brought up” - Adams nevertheless repeated his desire to remain in post despite seeing United slip to 23rd.
“Do I want to carry on? Absolutely,” he said. “I want to be the person who restores our fortunes.”
Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers, whose side face Nottingham Forest in the play-offs after finishing third courtesy of Saturday’s triumph, backed his beleaguered counterpart. “The word I feel is so important to the future of Sheffield United is stability,” he said. “They need to ensure Micky is allowed the job of transitioning the squad from a Championship to a League One club.
“And, with their fantastic fan base and the manager’s passion for the club, I’m in no doubt they can follow the example of Norwich City and grow again.”
