Wow. The worst I’ve seen since the Southend debacle.

Bad bad BAD day at the office, embarrassing result and we’re back down to earth with a HUGE bang.

I’d hate to see us fade away after such an amazing start after losing Coutts. Time for the lads to step up to the plate starting on Saturday. Our season literally depends on it.

Today, that was shocking. Some of the mistakes I wouldn’t have expected to see from Jay McEveley.

Birmingham can’t come quick enough.

Wasn' there Danny who made the mistakes? How did Blackman play ?

Ah so if we lose Saturday we’ve blown top 6.

Admit it, you’ve been waiting for this result haven’t ya?
Are you for real?

Our season depends on us sorting out this loss to Coutts. 5-4 now though.

We need to sort that out sharpish. The slight worry is the loss of Coutts will have more effect on us defensively than imagined. Hopefully, just a blip.

Anyone who watches us knows we're an attacking team that commits men forward. We take risks and play entertaining football. Most teams this season--including the so-called big boys in this division--have been rocked back on their heels by us and our attacking style. Fulham were more canny, hit us on the break, and had a big slice of luck. More importantly, a couple of our most reliable lads had an off night. We still almost snatched a point.

Gutsy stuff from the lads, I'm disappointed but proud. A disaster this is not.

We really missed our usual right wing backs today. A couple of individual errors too, lets hope that's a one off. The score still flattered Fulham. They were very lucky with at least 3 of those goals. Another day and that would have been a very different game. Let's not too concerned until a pattern emerges. Just a bad day at the office (hopefully).

When behind we're going to concede the odd silly goal because we push forward and go for it (and long may it continue!). Like I said, the scoreline and result flattered them.

THB Billy had a nightmare he gave the ball away so many times , and didn't win much at all , bad night all around , MISSED COUTTS LIKE MAD, felt sorry for Fleck no one at his level to help him all tonight , but LEON was fantastic again , scores a hatrick and loses . Chris has a lot of sorting out to do , you cant win em all !

Coutts or no Coutts , their first two were gifts . After that the game was stretched and that's exactly what Fulham wanted .

Pick ourselves up , dust ourselves down , learn from it and move on .

If CCV doesn’t make that mistake for the first then we go on to win that game. Fine margins.

There’s no way that’s a sign of things to come, just a bad day which we move on from quickly. There aren’t many teams with that much pace in attack.

Everybody , calm the fuck down ,
Or did some on here think we would piss the league
Hold on isn't that what the deluded up the road thinks
Bad defending , poor back pass for first , lucky deflection on one
And can we please get the ball into the box quicker from the wings
No disrespect to our , and any of our team , but let's stop trying to walk it into bastard net
Quess what we will lose again this season , so some had better get used to it

So fucked off I've just banged my nannan out.
Wilder ahht.

Yes, it's the striker Billy Sharps fault that we let 5 goals in tonight. Fuck all to do with the fact that Carter Vickers gift wrapped 2 of them and Basham was 7 miles away from his man for the 3rd.

Let's all fucking blame Billy Sharp, the forums favourite target.

Haha bet Danny is fuming - Hanson came on too! Your favourite player haha

CCV for the first 3 arguably, that first one was blooper DVD worthy. Blackman should’ve saved the fourth.

Blackman made a brilliant save at 1-0.

Bit harsh to blame CCV for the second. They hit a speculative ball forward which was going through to Blackman, it deflected into the path of their player, CCV slipped and their player has bent it into the corner.

It wasn’t a result when you posted this. 2-5 was it?

His hold up play was immense tonight and regularly brought other players into the game. A part of his game that is often overlooked. It's not always about scoring goals. Part and parcel of that is that he's going to lose the ball sometimes.

Bit harsh Danny. Ccv slipped for the second which was then a stunning strike. Blackman may have saved the 4th had it not taken a deflecton off Lundstram - who stood off their player for both 4th and 5th to allow them to get their shots away. The concern for me was why he was in that position rather than Bash - We certainly need a proper right wingback back and that's not a dig at Basham it just isn't his position.

On another day we get something out of that. As mentioned above poor defending and individual mistakes. I thought Clarke and JOC were awesome. Duffy had an off night his decision making was dreadful at times.

I thought lundstram was okay. Occasionally dropped a little too deep when we were trying to play out of the back which was frustrating. However I think after a few games under his belt he will deputise Coutts adiquatly.

Odd poor performance but certainly doesn't warrant the meltdown demonstrated by the OP.
