He walked. He was not sacked. He does not agree with plans and so be it. Thanks for the memories Chris it’s been fantastic. This season however has not been and you can’t blame everyone else sometimes. Clearly a break down but like Wilder himself with Duffy....he does not run the club. I hoped he would stay but he has chosen to leave. Best window ever is also a phrase I bet he wished he did not say. He‘s also the highest paid individual in the club which in itself is strange isn’t it !

The premier league destroys football clubs

Eh??!!

Has it destroyed Man City? Or Spurs, or Villa, or us last season for that?

It has given us the most financial investment we have ever had, allowing us to spend more in a season than several decades added together
It has given us global visibility, and last season took us to praise from just about everyone who watched us

The destruction has come since the summer -
injuries, COVID, no fans - no one to blame

recruiting, tactics, negative press conferences, no plan B - sadly that all lies with the management team, which includes Mitchell

Another aspect to consider is the pressure to be in the Premier league due to ££££'s
As a fan of 56 years it's sad to see the pressure put on managers to be in the cash today, ruined it IMHO
