I'd go for:

Davies - Cuvelier Basham Doyle - - - --- Murphy

Subs: Willis,Freeman,Dimaio,K Wallace, JCR, Adams,McNulty


Doesn't look like a brilliant line up but that's what I'd go for IF all those listed are not available.... hopefully one or 2 will be to make it a stronger line up..

Amazing how quickly a massive squad can be whittled away by a few injuries etc!!

Would still hopefully be strong enough to get a win.. any thoughts?

Yeah, I'm sure it'll be as difficult as ever to predict what the starting XI will be on tues - no harm in discussing ideas and seeing what other people would pick IF they were the manager though!!

Murphy might be injured too. He took another kick towards the end, and although he did run after that, inbetween he wasn't moving freely at all.

Ye I think I would try and get Murphy done and Adams in attacking areas and try and find space on the break.
I could see all three moving around and swapping positions which could be good away from

I think there's a tendency (of course) to focus on our issues, but all the other clubs will have their problems with suspensions and injuries too.

What with that, and with fixture congestion, the run-in might be a bit of a free-for-all.

Good point, hopefully our big squad will mean that we suffer less than others and can have a strong run to the end of the season..

I'm always concerned Murphy will burn out but he makes himself undroppable. Done runs ridiculous amounts as well so I worry about him. Adams can be a decent Murphy replacement, and Sparky for Done so maybe do that (or just one). Reed back in, and Davies for JCR for me. It's a tough balance between consistent selection and keeping the squad fresh.
