Not sure this is a game that Hamer should start. He will be in danger of getting injured by one of their players, and in equal danger of picking up another card. We should have enough to win without him, but if not we can bring him off the bench.

You can guarantee that their fans will be gleeful if Hamer is carried off.

Derbies are very tight affairs.

Let’s not forget it was only a month ago we lost at home to Mansfield.

Whilst it wasn’t our first XI from the outset, there were plenty of players who would be in the matchday squad.

It’s not going to be a time to get ahead of ourselves, though if anyone will stamp that out for this game, it will be Wilder.

They play out from the back you know, I mean it doesn't go past the half way line but they do roll the ball out to their defenders (which blows my mind). O'hare and his press could have a field day.

Agreed, most teams at this level play a 3 man midfield. Traditional 442 struggles to cope with a 433, 4231 or a 352 because the two in midfield are overloaded

We’ve looked ok in spells in a 442 because we’ve gone really and bypassed midfield but we’ve usually surrendered more chances at the same time.
