Is it time to move Bash back into midfield permanently? I would honestly play him ahead of Norwood right now.

More energy, willing to run with the ball and can cut out opposition play when required.

1. 33 now and not sure he still has the legs to do it for 90 minutes. Those unfortunate last gasp challenges might be more last gasp!
2. If Davies arrives, fine, but otherwise he's starting at the back. Would probably also need to start there if we get any injuries.

No way will Viera be match fit, and starting Mcgoldrick as central striker? Where is the evidence he can play that role?

Been thinking today and i’m glad we tried 4231 but brewster and burke were far too deep to use their pace. Maybe we’d be better playing a 433 like liverpool’s in which the striker is a false 9 and the wingers play on the opposition defenders to get in behind. Didz or mcburnie could play the false 9 with preferably moose and brewster in the mane/salah positions. Then a midfield 3 with one holding (vieira or norwood) and two box to box types (berge +1)

Yep this XI is in my mind.

The one change I'd make is Norwood out, and I'm not really bothered who comes in. Osborn most likely, maybe Fleck. Anyone to get us through the WBA game, and once Vieira is fit that's his place.

Might let Norwood bring out the half-time oranges but he'd probably give them all to the first man.

Slav had the perfect chance to use Freeman from the bench last night, instead he chose Osborn

Berge and Norwood can't play in the same side unless we play 4-4-2 or 4-5-1, which we can't as we don't have any wingers on the books.

They've proved time and time again that it has to be and not the other.

I would play the majority of the U 23s but add Ramsdale, RND, Viera and Brewster to make up a new first team as
at least the youngsters play with passion and some degree of cohesive skill.

Instead of the pass back, sideways more backwards and then either a punt forward for no one to get onto or selfish individuel play as the forwards aare frustrated as hell never getting a sniff of the ball.

For me, Fleck, Berge and Norwood dont seeem to have any creative skills at present.
