The next 2 cup games will no doubt see some rotating of the squad. I'd like to see something like

-------------------------Long

Alcock--------McGahey--Kennedy--K. Wallace

JCR----------Reed------Hammond---Flynn

----------------McNulty----Sammon

Subs:
Willis
Freeman
Basham
Scougall
Woolford
De Girolamo
Done

Think that would give us a strong enough side to win the game whilst giving a rest to some we've been too reliant on line Sharp and Adams and giving players right on the fringe like Sammon and Reed a chance to stake a claim. Alcock surely can't still be injured. He only got a kick in the ribs about 6 weeks ago!

I don't want us to play a weak side and go out first round.

I want us to progress and do well so the only real change I'd make is to give Long a chance in goal as Howard has been disappointing.

Long

Freeman
McGahey
Collins
K Wallace

Hammond
Basham
Baxter

Adams
Sharp
Done

I would play a strong but slightly experimental team:-

__________Long
Flynn__Basham__Edgar__Harris
__Freeman Hammond K.Wallace
JCR_______Sharp______Adams

See if either Freeman, K.Wallace or both could make the grade as the much needed "box to box" midfielders.

Long
McFadzean - McGahey - Kennedy - K.Wallace
Adams - Reed - Dimaio - Flynn
McNulty - Diego

I dread to think of the scoreline, but at least it'd give all our other top performers a well earned rest.

Long

Flynn McGahey Collins Wallace

JCR Hammond Reed Woolford

Sammon McNulty

Subs: H*ward, Harris, Basham, Scougall, Baxter, Done, Adams

I'd play the best side that we can. The FA cup deserves respect, save the kids and reserves for the shit pot cup and take the fine there

This. You never know, they might even wake from their current slumber, give Worcester a good hiding and go on a run of wins.

Though reading this back, perhaps I need to wake up too...

Howard
Flynn McGahey Collins Harris
JCR Hammond Basham Wallace (K)
Sharp Done

I would expect Harris will definitely play as he is coming back from injury.

He'll probably give Long a run out in goal too and rest Sharp.

My guess (not what I would do but..)
Long
Flynn/Freeman McGahey Collins Harris
Basham Coutts
C-Ryce Reed Woolford
Sammon
Wouldn't be surprised if Dimaio and the like make the bench.

I was thinking the same, I found it very strange so many were putting him on the team sheet.
He's not played once for Leicester this season and only played 12 times last season. He's on his way out, no two ways about it.

A mate of mine's a Leicester fan and he rates Hammond. He asked for an update a couple of days ago and was quite surprised when I said 'garbage'. I genuinely think (and hope) that we've seen nowhere near the best of him yet. If he's eligible I think we have to play him. He needs games.

But surely we should beat Woucester with our second X1

Possibly. Possibly not. We've slipped up many times in league cup games to lower league opposition

Play the best 11 and make no excuses. Plus it means that these big time Charlies that cant get up for Crewe etc are made to play again... Perhaps it's a good reminder where they'll end up if they don't start pulling together

Long
Brayford Edgar Kennedy Wallace
JCR Reed Hammond Adams
Sammon Done

Subs: Howard, Harris, McGahey, Flynn, Baxter, McNulty, Jake Wright
