Get yours in. Mine's:

-------------------------Blackman
Baldock - Basham - CCV - JOC - Stevens
--------------------Coutts - Fleck
--------------------Duffy - Brooks
--------------------------Clarke

I like the idea of two number tens, and you just know Clough will set up to frustrate us with loads of players behind the ball. We might need the guile of Duffy and the spontaneity of Brooks both on the pitch to unlock them.

Subs:
Sharp
Donaldson
Thomas
Carruthers
Lundstram
Wright
Lafferty

Think it’s one for Brooks and Clarke to start up top so Sharp misses out of the starting 11 for me. Other than that I’d pick the same team as against Hull.

I think we stick with the team that beat hull there's no need to change and everyone will be fully fit and raring to go after the international break. I think we need to play sharp and Clarke, I think they will just sit behind the ball like clough usually sets up and don't think they will be many chances at first unless we get a early goal and open the game up so we will need to take our chances. I think sharp and Leon have the best chance of getting behind there defence and scoring. I think if we can get the early goal and make them come out and play then I can see us getting quite a few goals, the longer it goes on at 0-0 the harder it will be for us to unlock them.

No sub Keeper? Are you Colin in disguise?

While we have good competition for places I think Fridays team picks itself.

Brook is still the ace up our sleeve. Best impact player in the league by far. While everybody's huffing and puffing, he comes on and rips the flagging opposition tap bits.

Sharp has to start. The rest is fine.

Playing a defensively minded coach like Clough, if we can nick a goal early it will put them in a real spot.

I don't think Baldock will be back tomorrow

Brooksy on the bench again

Rest as last game as I don't see Blackman walking back into the line up

I would go with Clarke and Sharp personally. Our top goal scorers are more likely to get us the lead, Duffy behind with Brooks as the exocet missile from the bench.

Decision to be made on the keepers too...not easy. Do we go with our recognised No1, or is indeed our No2 now our No1....in which case do we drop our new number 2 in favour of our new number 1...unless of course our No1 is still our number 1 in which case its a no brainer!

I am not a number....I am a freeman!

This 'Why change a winning team?' talk is a bit naive I think. The Championship is such a blend of styles that we'll need to tweak it sometimes. Horses for courses. A Hull City at home and a Burton away are two very different fixtures and should be treated as such. I wouldn't have a problem with Sharp instead of Brooks but to say 'Bring Brooks on if we need a goal with 15 minutes to go' is a bit daft... Who is more likely to come on and score with 15 minutes to go? I'd probably say Sharp.

True, but Brooks might be more likely to pull a defence out of shape and create an opening for someone else to score.

What are we like for yellow cards tomorrow? Anyone in danger for Fulham?

We have to remember we are playing 3 games in 8 days and hopefully Wilder will have learnt something about his rotation.

However for tomorrow, if Baldock is fit then Wright misses out. If not fit same team as last time.

Ideally we need to win this game early.

Sharp is captain and we are coming off an international break. I think it's naïve to think he doesn't start.

Leaning.
Barnsley Stancliffe Kuhl Pike
morris Dempsey Frain Beagrie
Cadette Philliskirk

Barnsley And Pike van bomb forward and I’m sure Philliskirk won’t give defenders a minute. Cadette can always pop up with a goal as well.

Surely there's a place for 'Nudger'?

With the exceptions of wing wizard Morris and Stan the Man, what a steaming pile of excrement that team was / would be now.

Oh, Kuhl wasn't bad and Beagrie on his day flattered to deceive.....but ....Leaning....Barnsley....Private Pikes lamentable full back defensive play, a midfield of Dempsey and Frain (about 12 stone of weight between em) and a strike force of nesh pretty boy Philly and carthorse Cadette. Fek me, that was a sufc team to give anyone nightmares.

I suppose it's difficult to compare teams from different eras, but I'm confident enough to say that if today's Utd team played that Utd team from yesteryear then it would probably be a cricket score.
