Hodges and Bryson are good shouts. Definitely should be added to the list

Probably a shout for Morgan 05/06 and Armstrong 06/07 who I always think is/was massively underrated (albeit not as good as Stevens best)

Also think the matured Whitehouse of 97/98 playing centrally was better than his younger winger self albeit that wasn't a full season for obvious reasons

That's an interesting category: Blades players who've had very different distinct roles/phases for us. I don't mean players who've occasionally played in many different positions (i.e. Osborn). I mean players where they had a fixed position, but it later changed to another regular position (for better or worse). Examples (with grey areas around the crossovers) include:

Basham the midfielder (2014-2016) and Basham the defender (2016-present).
Jagielka the midfielder (2001-2003 and 2005 I think), Jagielka the full back (2003-2005) and Jagielka the centre back (2006-2007).
Dane Whitehouse the winger (1989-1995) and Whitehouse the centre mid (1996-1997).
Michael Tonge the winder (2002-2005) and Tonge the centre mid (2005-2008).
