Chaps,
Kinda held our own against the play off teams (assuming Hudds, Dons & Stephen) but without Evans and Hoskins, we will struggle to create impact against well organised teams.
Surely can't go for Porter & O'Halloran up front, reverting to Beattie & Cresswell will result in hoof ball, any of the teams will set themselves up to defend this. How about sticking Cresswell up front alone to hold up the ball, putting 5 in midfield with Williamson, Big Mac, Doyle playing in central roles and getting forward to support Cresswell (Doyle could play tad deeper), with Flynn & Quinn (or O'Halloran) flying up and down the wing, attacking from deep but at pace to get round the inevitable wall of defenders?
Rarely did we get behind the Stevenage defence, perhaps towards the end, for most of the game we attacked them square on, this was easy to defend against.
Thoughts? (other than the obvious 'we are going up automatically')
