Us or Millwall? And you don't think he would fancy us? What is the world coming to?I can’t see this one happening personally. I’m not sure Tanganga would fancy us. Hope I’m wrong.
Leeds midfielder?Godfrey / Seriki
Bindon / Tanaka /
Mee / Nils
Burrows / McCallum
That feels far better than a few days ago. Competition for places, potential to offload JLT and/or RND, and ability to get the young lads experience out on loan without becoming threadbare. I worry it may take time to gel, but happy we are finally trying to address a big problem.
London or Sheffield?Us or Millwall? And you don't think he would fancy us? What is the world coming to?
I bet Thomas is better (statistically) than all of the targets in the air isn't he? How does Mee stack up? He's no taller than Tanganga I don't think.Doyle is worse than Anel (who was worse than Robinson) in the air. Tanganga has improved, at a level above Robinson consistenly, but still slightly worse than Thomas
He was Milwall's player of the year last season as chosen by their fans, and also their players' player of the season. They've seen a lot more of him than any of us.TBH I can’t recall him being that good in game highlights I’ve seen, that young lad Coburn was the eye catch for Millwall for me but forum members who seem to know good players all seem to concur Tanganga is quality way before AI, Des Taylor etc.
Actually laughed out loudDoes 'stepping up' mean that we are using our speediest pigeon 'Fluffybutt' to deliver our message, saying that we would like to potentially 'court' one of their players?
If Fluffybutt is being taken out of the coop, it's a sure sign that we finally mean business.
Championship beware.
Fly well FB.
South London or Sheffield is a very different propositionLondon or Sheffield?
What's the obsession with how tall they are (not directed at you this FTPE - more of a general comment)? Berge was massive and shit in the air. McCallum isn't that tall and jumps like Zebedee.I bet Thomas is better (statistically) than all of the targets in the air isn't he? How does Mee stack up? He's no taller than Tanganga I don't think.

We would be an aspirational and higher profile club for any Millwall player regardless of where we are located geographically.London or Sheffield?
I’d seen Hellas Verona had had a bid turned down earlier in the summer, but I’ve heard he’s a big fan of industry and steel production has even been seen taking lessons on buffing cutleryThe competition for him is from a few Italian teams

Tanganga isn’t exactly going to be living in Streatham. He’s from Hackney anyway. The location point is fairly irrelevant. As awful as we appear to be right now we’re a bigger club with better prospects than Millwall.South London or Sheffield is a very different proposition
Knowing us, we'll allow him to play for Millwall and one of our players breaks his leg!If a deal is agreed upon there will probably be an agreement that he'll play for neither side on Saturday.
Thomas 65%, Tanganga 63% had their best seasons last time out. Doyle has never bettered 55% which is a poor level for a CB in England. Mee at his best was around Tanganga (Mee showed decline in his first Brentford season, been at around 50% since but barely played) but Tarkowski was the aerially and physically dominant defender at BurnleyI bet Thomas is better (statistically) than all of the targets in the air isn't he? is there credible links or just hope?
I just can’t see Tang joining us if Robbo is still here as we don’t need 5 CBs
Hope to God I’m wrong![]()
We haven't signed any of the others yet, and he'd be ahead of most of the ones named. Neither RND nor Sasnauskas are regular starter material and every chance they'll get shipped out on loan if we get enough alternatives inis there credible links or just hope?

Agreed - even Chris Morgan wasn’t that tall but his attitude along with great timing made him a fantastic dominating centre half. Tom Cowan was a diminutive full-back but was fantastic in the air. What's the obsession with how tall they are (not directed at you this FTPE - more of a general comment)? Berge was massive and shit in the air. McCallum isn't that tall and jumps like Zebedee.
5'11 or 6'2 isn't a massive difference if they're good at jumping and can get the timing right.
Jack Robinson ole oleKnowing us, we'll allow him to play for Millwall and one of our players breaks his leg!
Yeah but Arsenal have one of the best squads in the PL in the meantime whereas we have been playing with Robbo and RND who we want to get rid of! In other words Arsenal can afford to wait and take 3 pts off Man U in the meantime whereas we have been looking like cannon fodder playing with a threadbare squadYep, Arsenal don’t get Eze a month ago but now they have a shot
