You are, sorry I realised that sounded a lot more aggressive than I meant it to beThis one smells of his agent trying to get him out by engaging with us in the hope to flush others out … hope I’m wrong
Except when he played a proper monster centre forward like Darius Henderson who proper bullied him in a game i saw. But Henderson bullied nearly every centre back.Agreed - even Chris Morgan wasn’t that tall but his attitude along with great timing made him a fantastic dominating centre half. Tom Cowan was a diminutive full-back but was fantastic in the air.
The guy from sky italy went to Blades Ramble last night. He was the one who broke the news. Tanganga has italian agents, which is where im guessing the information has come from. No inside info has come from blades side this window. The fact that sky sports have now jumped on this is likely that it is something we are interested in. Dont get me wrong, everything is pinch of salt till they hold up the shirt - however this one seems likely due to whos reporting it.This one smells of his agent trying to get him out by engaging with us in the hope to flush others out … hope I’m wrong
Yeah but Arsenal have one of the best squads in the PL in the meantime whereas we have been playing with Robbo and RND who we want to get rid of! In other words Arsenal can afford to wait and take 3 pts off Man U in the meantime whereas we have been looking like cannon fodder playing with a threadbare squad

Again - brilliantI’d seen Hellas Verona had had a bid turned down earlier in the summer, but I’ve heard he’s a big fan of industry and steel production has even been seen taking lessons on buffing cutlery
Just read on Silents 1970/ 71 thread that one of our best teams of all time (or at least the catalyst) lost 3-1 away to newly promoted Orient in our 2nd game .There are no guarantees in championship that we would go up, Ipswich and Saints are probably better, Leicester depends on points deductions
Is losing the first 3 or 4 games a worry, of course it is but there is no we can’t afford to wait or it’s disaster if we start slowly
We have implemented a new style and system into the club, there was always going to be a good chance it took time, always a good chance that we might not have got up and next season might be when we really saw how effective or infective it is
It is going to be so much harder to go up next season though. 3 more relegated teams and whoever doesn't go up this year. An even stronger Birmingham or one of the parachute clubs as well. That's why the timing of this seems so strange. If we didnt have parachute payments I could understand trying something like this but this is probably our best chance for the next few years maybe more to go up.There are no guarantees in championship that we would go up, Ipswich and Saints are probably better, Leicester depends on points deductions

If a deal is agreed upon there will probably be an agreement that he'll play for neither side on Saturday.
Two weakest passers there too. Tanganga at 77.3% and Mee at 76.5%.How can Tanganga be weak long passer at 53.7%
But Mee be a reliable long passer at 53.5%

Hamer isnt going to give us 2 more seasons in this league. I doubt Cooper will either and there could be a few others like that.
It seems like they have taken a massive risk at precisely the time when we just needed to add a few to what we had last season.
Because my, although I got the raw data myself, I haven't got the time to run a comparison so I asked AI to do it. I'm not sure passing is a strength of any of them, maybe Thomas as a slight exceptionHow can Tanganga be weak long passer at 53.7%
But Mee be a reliable long passer at 53.5%

Carlton: D- for your homework and you got that grade for putting the correct query into ChatGPT. See me after class.
I heard he wants to get further away from airports.Loves his pies, real ale, less traffic, the peak district and green police boxes as well.
I heard he wants to move a place where he'll get to hear his name pronounced differently each time.I heard he wants to get further away from airports.

I've always found watching a player in isolation in a game works best ,forget computer generated stats just open your eyes and make a judgementAs always with the stats you have to temper it with a) sample size b) level of opposition and c) the team they're playing for.
On their own they're largely irrelevant. Stating the bleeding obvious I suspect but guess what I'm saying is don't get hung up on them too much.

I reckon that game was Watford away, lost 1-0 I think, Lee Williamson scored. The only time I remember Morgs moaning to the ref that someone was ragging him about.Except when he played a proper monster centre forward like Darius Henderson who proper bullied him in a game i saw. But Henderson bullied nearly every centre back.
Football analytics and stats aren't generated by a computer. These come from people watching games and analysing individual players within a game then putting that data into a database. Yes, you wouldn't solely rely on it, but if you don't use data in football recruitment these days you get left behind.I've always found watching a player in isolation in a game works best ,forget computer generated stats just open your eyes and make a judgement
Depends how high your bar is...i used to get excited seeing Ryan Flynn on our right wing...He was also harping on about signing a top quality RW that will "knock our socks off".
Gonna put my neck on the line and say the only top quality RW that is capable of getting my socks off is Becks. Imagine?
