I would have said unlikely but weren't Burnley's two centre backs around 21 years old at the start of last season and it didn't work out too badly for them.

Actually what we’re doing with loans of Bindon and Barry and the other lad Soumare isn’t so different to how Burnley went about it either!

If this is going to happen (would only take him permanent), surely it will happen once preseason is over once Thomas Frank has had a proper look at him.

He was easily our outfield PotS and only didn’t win overall because Johansson saved our asses so often in goal.

We were completely dependent on him at CB, and this is at 19 years old. He’s an elite-level prospect who’s already proven himself in our division and is well ahead of your typical trajectory for a centre half. In my opinion he’ll be playing regularly in the Premier League sooner rather than later, so any Champo club that can secure his services now will be very lucky indeed.

Just as a comparison I loved Souttar but this guy is a level above.

Yeah shame….but sadly it looks like we have a very limited budget despite £40m parachute money - so probably outside our funding available.

Shame as I rate him & a Spurs fan at work thinks he has a big future.

Good luck next season. Always had soft spot for you guys as had friends from there for many years.

Without wishing to rub it in one of our most reliable ITKs says he was "nailed on" to go to you guys as of last week. But something changed and he was told yesterday AP had decided to take up our offer of another loan (always on the table so it's not like we hijacked anything)
