Think today showed everyone why us fans get so annoyed with Blackwell, but also why sometimes you have to step back breathe and realise sometimes you are not always right.
I never expected to go to the lane today and watch a match where united dominated, i also didn't expect to see two pacey wingers, a target man with a pacey skillful forward and quinn on the bench. But as i arrived just before the greasy chip butty song was played for the beginning of the match i looked on the pitch and with a huge sigh of relief said to my mate finally...
This is all us blades wanted to see if it didn't work, fair one but we all know we have the players its just route one is no good. We played some lovely football today and i for one am prepared to say well done blackwell and keep it up.
As for the players this is how i thought they played.
Bunn - Not alot to do but he commanded his area and seems to have all the confidence in the world
Geary - Is geary 100%
Nosworthy - Looked assured showed some good touches and very confident
Bartley - Looked his age will go through a brick wall though, got a little lost at times
Kallio - Think he looks a very good player at the back and going forward
Ward - Great signing runs and runs, gives us that little extra and should be first name on team sheet, nto afraid to shoot and likes his assists.
Williamson - If he can stay fit (which is the main question) could be what weve been looking for, for sometime.
Montgomery -Great player who is sorely missed when he isnt there, does all the dirty work. Not a great passer but we forgive you. haha
Yeates - Another 100% player looks to have some good skills and can get in the box alot and puts the crosses henderson needs.
Camara - Showed his quality today knows where the net is, got pace, skill, and a great shot.
Henderson - Did all the dirty work today but also showed some good touches, the ball doesnt need to be in the air just because hes playing. He is a very good player who most of the time when he gets the ball looks for a short pass near him and to get in the box and who obviously knows where the net is seeing has hes got 12 this season.
I rung up radio sheffield today for the first time because lately i think seth and paul have got on our backs to much about our whinging (although i can admit sometimes and im included we do talk some right sh*t and go off alarming to quick). I put my first point about the way we played to day shows why we get annoyed and also about henderson not been at fault for us knocking the ball in the air at him.
Im also glad i went today and the fact i will be going tuesday and next saturday i am a blade its in my blood and whether im watching us in the prem or league 2 what i feel for this club will never change. Sorry that this thread is long and drawn out and if theres any grammer or spelling mistakes, i had to get this off my chest while i could remember it.
on a final note theres only one this to say really .... UP THE FU****G BLADES!!
