So the weekend results went arguably in our favour, depending on your viewpoint of course, but a win tonight will definitely make it look so. That's not to be taken for granted though against a Swindon side deep in relegation trouble and looking for a few wins to get them in the battle having played at least as many as those around them already. They go into the game, though, on the back of 2 defeats and things are obviously not going right this season. On form and league position this should be a Blades victory if we remain disciplined and clinical.

Anyway...

Any team news? :)

Wright struggling? :(

Any other knocks?

Carruthers to get a start?

Or keep it unchanged if possible?

Bolton face a tricky trip tonight, Scunny seem out of it, and it will be interested to see how Fleetwood react in their trip to our nemesis Walsall :)

As mentioned above, and we know as Blades, never can we take anything for granted. However this Blades set up does seem be more capable of reading the script. Likely to be a physical battle tonight, on a poor pitch I hear(?) so avoiding injuries would be a start. We should have more than enough though for Swindon, so I'm in for a 3-0 Blades win. Safe journey all.

PS. Best of luck to Fulham :)

Team back to what it was vs Bolton – Duffy and Wright to have fully recovered from their injuries. Chapman back on the bench.

Swindon need to go for it, which should hopefully open the game for us to exploit rather than them parking the bus.

Just on our way to Swindon midweek away nearly 350 mile round trip

Whats going on!

Inb4 someone says 'Exactly the type of game we'll lose'

These motherfuckers beat Bolton away a few months back. Got some decent players despite their position so won't be easy

We have the advantage here in terms of freshness having not played on Saturday.

Swindon will surely play to win having lost two in a row and being in danger of getting cut adrift a bit. In additon to that their next three games are Bradford (A), Millwall (H) and Fleetwood (A). That should play into our hands but we have to be careful because they do have attacking quality.

Hopefully we'll be at full strength with Wright starting and Duffy back in. Would like to see Lavery start, and hopefully Chapman's on the bench.

It's that time now where every win is massive. Win this one then we'll only have 4 more to go.

COME ON YOU NITED

It won't be an easy game and it's just the kind of game we could lose

Attitude needs to be spot on both in our play and our discipline

Their disciplinary record this season indicates that they won't shy away from challenges, we have to compete without losing discipline

2-0 Blades at a canter. Billy and Fleck, he's due one.

Can't believe how much trouble they are in
They've played three more games than Port Vale and are still behind them
This is a must win game for them and I'm expecting it to be really physical, some of our lads might get damaged if they're not careful

When did you get all sweary Roy?
Not offended, but been reading your posts here and in another place for a long time and can't recall any before?

I don't think Swindon are a particularly dirty or physical team. They're inexperienced and soft at the back.

If they have most yellow cards or whatever that's just as likely to be down to having players who are shit at tackling or having to make last ditch tackles all the time.

I think they're the sort of opponents we should be well suited to playing against. It certainly seemed that way in the home game.

Need to keep Ajose quiet - he'd do any of our defenders for pace any day of the week.

1-2 blades.

I'm confident we will get promoted in the end , I think our midfield and sharp will get us over the line, but our defense is a concern to me, we give too many goals away not to lose a couple a games between now and the end of the season. We weren't that amazing second half at Oxford. We were terrible 1st half. There is still a lot of work for our team to do to get promoted. I wouldn't be surprised if we went up in second.

I would also like Lavery to be given a start up front with Billy,he's caused problems with his pace and movement everytime, and is a real threat in behind, but maybe CW will stick with Hanson again...great that we've such a strong bench, and good to see Chapman back in contention for a place on the bench.

I've got a mouth like a sewer mate. Also the "other place" you speak of doesn't even let you write Scunthorpe without starring it out!

Wright Hanson and Duffy dropped, O'shea and Lavery in. Hope I'm wrong but think we will struggle without Duffy probing away.

Think Duffy is still injured as he isn't on the bench .

Swindons first choice keeper is out and they have no sub goalie so my plan would be for Ebanks to boot their keeper in the face in the first minute

Don't apply for a coaching badge Roy.;)

Interesting line up good to see lavery start, hope he has a great game and bags a couple
