I’m sorry to disappoint Reidewald and his fans, but when I saw the highlights of last night’s Stoke victory, I feel sure it was actually Binden’s shot that crossed the line, for our first goal before Reidewald touched the ball.

Am I the only one who saw it that way?

I thought the ball had been stopped on the line and then bounced up onto Riedewald’s arm before going in.
Waited with dread for several seconds for VAR to disallow it, and then realized it was just PTSD from last season’s playoff final.

I do think that it's just players seeing how much of a piss take they can be. Used to see a lot of linesman arguing with corner taker whether it's in the right place or not. Think that's more of a PL thing but just put it on the sodding line and stop being a twat
