Didn't bother Billy when he scored against us for Donny. It's his job.
One's clearly a professional

Anyone think that perhaps Rhodes has some affection for his old club and just didn't want to take a penalty against them?
If we had a Penalty Shootout; we all know that the first hand to go up when asked to take one would have been Billys.
Rhodes would more likely be sat at home with a white feather. When you go to war,you want men like Billy Sharp in the trenches with you and he will be the first man over the top of the trench leading the others.................Rhodes on the other hand would be sat in the bottom of the trench trembling like a baby.
Problem that they have is that they've spunked a lot of money on strikers and not much else.Sharp would take the penalty no mater who he was playing for, or against. A total model professional.
Rhodes may of course come good next season for them. But they now have all their eggs in one basket.
Totally true.Problem that they have is that they've spunked a lot of money on strikers and not much else.
So the new manager going in there will need to clear out the ones that they can make any money back on.... which is likely to be Sam Winnall, they one that cost the least and scores the most...
Just for the record we've only 'bought' Billy twice as his first spell was as a youngster from the academy.
