I'm sure we will be bought at some point but what's the saying 'once bitten, twice shy'?

So for me twice bitten means don't believe a thing until it's announced and the new owners are photographed in front of the south stand

The last week of the window suggests to me something isn't quite right

Who knows.

I am in the same boat.

On Saturday morning I was spitting feathers, and actually felt the club had been negligent in not strengthening attack and defence.
Without doubt we are still very light up top, but seeing that Souza and Anel partnership today gave me confidence. JLT, Gilchrist and RND should be fine as back up CBs and Shackleton's little cameo showed that we might be ok for RB cover, especially with Siriki soon to be back.

Then of course we have Souza. My god he looks fired up, and I have said before that in a team that is used to getting results, where he is truly motivated, he really could end up being a talisman. The signs so far are encouraging.

Wilder is going to have to shuffle the pack a lot over the next 4 months, and whilst we have the makings of a promotion team, our squad is still a few light and this will definitely need addressing in January. The new owners haven't got their feet under the table yet, but there will no excuse in the next transfer window.

The JTW will not have enough quality for us to be ready for the PL in 2025. Give it another summer window

Three deals that we were favourites for according to. Reliable sources and none went through

I think in time we will find out the plug was pulled on all three, probably because we were wating for sales to go through but I'm pretty sure it was the PA admisitration who made the decision
