With another goal each at the weekend I would like to think that our current attack will be enough to see us (at least) into the play offs.

Unfortunatley I dont think that we have enough firepower, and i dont want us to be scoring through January then for the goals to dry up and us have no ther options.

I dont know if he has been mentioned already but one person I think could do a job for us would be Scotland from Swansea. From what I have seen he has strength, pace and an eye for goal. Also, I cant imagine he would cost the world or have any silly wage demands.

What do you all think?

Welcome to the forum,

I can see your argument, and accept your thoughts and for that reason i would be very surprised if we hadnt added another striker to the team come the middle of February (Yes the middle of Feb, to include the Loan window should we not secure a striker in the transfer window)

As for Scotland, He does seem to have an eye for the Goal, and is scoring for fun at the moment. But for those very same reasons the likelyhood that we could get him, and for a good price are next to none. I would expect that Swansea would be wanting close to £3m for him at this time. Im not sure he is worth that, but that is what i would be expecting they would ask for, simply to have enough cash to re-invest accordingly.

Welcome to the forum :hello:

I don't know if you've seen the other thread, but beightonblade is very confident that Jamie Ward is now a Blade.

I don't know what you think about that one? A bit of a gamble in my eyes but a relatively cheap one (if the fees are to be believed).

I've just seen that, the only thing with Ward is that I dont think he will make an instant impact, from what I have seen and heard he is definatley one for the future.

I still think that we are lacking a natural goal scorer.
