Looking at their line up for yesterday, there are a lot of "big names" in it and on paper it is a puzzle to why they are in a lowly position in the table.

We will find out on Tuesday!

My opinion, Rowett really isn't very good. Don't get me wrong, he did well at Burton by building a solid hard working team who were equipped for that league. But he turned Derby into cloggers who were happy to surrender position to opposition teams and feed off scraps. They may have scraped into the playoffs but they never looked like they would go up in the end. I called it at the start of the season that Stoke would flounder under him, still a long way to go but the early signs are that he isn't inspiring that group of players.

My brother is a Wednesday season ticket holder.

He says Stoke in the 1st half and Leeds in the 2nd half are easily the 2 best sides he’s seen at Hillsboro this season.
He was really impressed with Stoke and was very confident they’d rise up the table.
Makes me wonder if the problem there, is that Gary Rowett is a poor manager.

Gary Rowett got sent off yesterday, will he start his ban Tuesday? If so could be good for them if he's such a bad manager.

The pigs own manager said Stoke should have been out of sight in first half , watched Leeds game they should have won with second half display , however we produce Villa and Derby ( with better service ) games we may have enough to do em

Yes, Stoke were tremendous in that opening period. They went two up, and it looked like it could be five or six. Bannan played a good long ball and Wednesday pulled one back very quickly. Then the confidence just drained out of them, like someone letting a balloon down. They've got that weakness at CB, and their confidence is shot. But they've got better players than Leeds, and if they'd had a half as Leeds did at Hillsborough they'd have knocked in 2 or 3.

I hope your ashamed of him!!;):D

We both had free choice with some uncles United and some Wednesday.

I’m older than him and started going in the mid to late 70’s.
United were the best Sheffield team at the time, more trendy with most kids at school supporting United.

He started going to matches in the early 80’s and his uncles persuaded him to support Wednesday as they were the most dominant Sheffield team at that time.

When we did our score predictions a few weeks ago I had us winning the last few games (including Derby) but then running into a Stoke team that finally decided to get its act together.

Just gotta hope I'm wrong about them

Stoke looked good against rovrum, loads of possession and dangerous but ended up scraping a 2-2 draw.

Thought Stoke had started to turn the corner before yesterday, although Brum seemed to get lucky with a couple of handballs.

That said I still think they will climb the table gradually and be top 6, with or without Rowett.

It all depends on how our players respond after that ugly second half rather than how Stoke play.
Spot on. We can dominate and beat any team in this league. However if we roll over like a submissive dog like we did in the 2nd half yesterday they'll do us

"Woodburn seems to be appearing on milk cartons as a missing person".

Cryin' inter me beer laughin' at that. Good one!

not sure what his record is like against us but always remember Crouch being a pain in the arse against us !
although might be more the fact that when he played for portsmouth we had to put up with listening to that bell ringing tw#t for the whole match !
bloody hope we are not in the same league next year !
