The Great Grumbleduke
Can understand why Henderson came off the line. There was a good second or so where the defence just stood there waiting for the pass.
I don't think Hendo would get beaten at his near post if he stays on his line.

Agree there.I don't think Hendo would get beaten at his near post if he stays on his line.
Stevens was the closest man to him and he was running towards Stevens. Thats when players get passed on.Sorry but that's load of bs imo. Watch the goal again. I agree Stevens is caught out of position and the ball is threaded through to his man from Arsenal's left hand side. Stevens running back goes straight to his man and closes him down as he is about to strike the ball, so much so that the Arsenal player checks back and Stevens gets a toe on the ball and flicks it away. The goalscorer is running from deep and has never been picked up by anyone in Utds midfield, but Norwood was the man closest to him and isn't tracking back. He's just stopped when the lad takes the ball off his team mate and instead of running back to make a challenge he just stands and watches. It's not Stevens job to hold up 2 opposition players. For me, it was Norwood's man all day long to cover and he didn't help out Stevens at all.

Busy collecting 2 out of 10 performances. And one of those was for getting his boots on the right feet.Where's Enda Stevens these days?
He has become worse than Jordan Stewart. What did he do to get back in?
Has he got some uncompromising pictures of Chris?

No room for sentiment in this sport, players reach their peak at some point no shame in that. This is the saddest one for me. Was my POY in the promotion season when there were legitimately 9 or 10 contenders. A player who improved every season he has been here. Back in the normal times, post shutdown he stepped up again and was fantastic in the Premier League. He looked fearless, confident and dangerous going forward.
But since “The Restart”? No.
Is it age? Is it injuries? Is it the team in general? Mix of the the lot?
I don't know. But he’s not the same. He’s not the only one by any stretch. And as much as I love and appreciate his - and the other players from the last few years - and what absolutely mad shit they have achieved, what I’ve seen from him since the restart makes me sad.
Heart says he deserves another crack next season. Head says time to move on to the likes of RND; maybe give Lowe or Osborn a proper crack at it, or even just get a complete newbie in?
Sentiment Vs Moving On
Big decisions needed. And Enda is not the only one who - while thoroughly deserving all our respect, gratitude and good will for previous achievements - should also be scrutinised for current performance and considered for replacement as we adapt and evolve the inevitable Championship squad of next season.
I still love the fucker though.
