But he has paid attention to the Championship. He says himself he knows a lot about it. Yes other clubs have spent a lot more but he’s disregarding our efforts it seems to me on an ignorant basis, ie. we haven’t spent a fortune therefore we can’t be as good as the others.

He was also a member of the Spurs team that finished 3rd (again!) in 1986/7.

Plus his England caps.
