They've done something to it every summer. I went to a wedding there in 2016 and it looks like they take the real grass out and reseed. I dunno. No turf expert!

The artificial strands and base remain, it’s only the topsoil and grass that is relaid.

Know the feeling, we just have to keep battling through, helping and supporting each other, after all we are blades family.
For me I have no family in Sheffield now, but hopefully it wont be too long before I can safely go see my sister's, nieces and nephews, plus my near 2 HR old great niece and soon to be arriving great niece/nephew.

Disappointing lack of references to “common sense”, “the science” or “the new normal” in that.

Otherwise, how good to see measured and thoughtful stuff from a senior exec at SUFC. Bettis is another good indicator of just how far the whole club has progressed in the last few years.

Whilst I know we employ a large number, I didn't for one minute realise the figure is 600 - 700 employees. In this day and age I'm guessing that would make the club one of the larger employers in the city

He probably meant re seeded with the desso fibres sure you can’t lay turf on top of it

And that's all it takes to allay any concerns or fears supporters might have.

Clubs, including United, have been poor in sharing information with their supporters. All it takes is for someone to grasp the importance of good communication, and that way leads to supporters feeling as if the club at least has a smidgen of interest in the bodies that fill the terraces (I know, a fairly ancient reference, but it still matters to some of us). Well done Bettis.
