Summary - Sunday league level communicator, speaking on behalf of a bang average championship club, recovering from a catastrophic series of decisions and crossing fingers that Wilder keeps us in the division.
'I'm an accountant'
Stick to the day job then Steve.
Woeful.
This isn’t aimed at you. It’s just that before any direct communication from the club I predicted it’s a bad idea because many would try to turn it into a negative and create damage.
This is why very few clubs ever communicate.
It’s highly dangerous because it doesn’t matter what is said…it will be twisted into a negatives. Even if anything positive is said it will obviously be a lie.
Some people need a scape goat to cope. it’s an outlet for their personal frustrations. Often makes me smile how when Hamer, Burrows, Cooper, Campbell are transfer targets. They become great players and many are convinced they’ll all be sold on the cheap because apparently we always sell our best players every year.
Then when we keep the same players they all suddenly become crap, get rid.
Same with the owners, it doesn’t matter what the owners do, some of our fans will hate them, keep mentioning their nationality with insults.
No wonder the current owners have kept out of the limelight and prefer to allow Bettis to do rare interviews. It’s a thankless task but at least he’s tried.
