You're 53 years of age and yet doing the exact same thing, no?Let it go Brian, you're better than this.

I hear this argument a lot and I agree. But what are the reasons for him not being on the pitch in the first place?Sharp has played 1,903 minutes in the league this season.
McBurnie has played 454 minutes.
He has to be on the pitch to score goals. And a 10 or 15minute cameo every so often isn't going to help.
Brewster for example, is it a coincidence that he started scoring and playing well when he was starting games, but also being played as a CF instead of a Right Mid?
McBurnie has started 3x league games.
Fuckwit.What an absolute moron.
I get out plenty thanks.
It takes a matter of seconds to look at your post history and see what a total fuckwit you are.
Anyone who doesn't agree with you is on crack though, obviously.
Difference between you and Oli, he acknowledges his shortcomings....
I don't suspect you'll acknowledge what you've said is wrong, you seem extremely narcissistic.
Fully agree with thisYep. You read it perfectly well. I can’t stand Andy Carroll but in the first half he was everything he was meant to be. A handful in the air, good first touch, good link up play and mobile.
Like it or not, he was one of their better players in the first half
Totally agree. Why is he spending so few minutes on the pitch, even when fit? Why has he dropped so far down the pecking order? Before the JTW he was vying for 5th or 6th spot amongst our strikers with Oli Burke. Why is that?
I hear this argument a lot and I agree. But what are the reasons for him not being on the pitch in the first place?
You have one player who, at 36, is in the form of his career, in great shape and an ambassador for the club (apart from twatting a Derby fan!). Then you've got a 25 year old, apparently the 'prime' age for a player and has basically pissed about for a few seasons and not really made a significant contribution to the fortunes of the club (since the first PL season).
Then people wonder why I get pissed off when they want McBurnie in the team over Sharp!
Speak for yourself, my 5 times weekly Peloton classes and weekly game of 5 a side put me in the 'superhuman' category! We're talking about athletes who's fitness is something us mortals can only dream of,
Again that's fair comment, however Brooks looked a talent before his illness.Heckingbottom said he has had/got long covid. It's taken him a long time to get anything like his proper fitness back. He's easing him back into the team gently.
Remember when Brooks had Glandular Fever? Took him months to get back to full fitness.
We're talking about athletes who's fitness is something us mortals can only dream of, so when they have an illness that debilitates them, imagine how hard it must be to get back to the level they need to be at.
No. You're flogging a dead horse and can't see it.You're 53 years of age and yet doing the exact same thing, no?
I clearly stated he'd started under Wilder. Try reading the post.
He made 4 changes to the winning side at Birmingham. Mcburnie wasn't one of them. Not very good at this are you?
Apparently McBurnie has been brought here for "link up" play and not to score goalsPlease can someone sum this thread up in a short sound, to save me trawling all the way through it? Ta.
20 million seems awfully expensive for a link up player that can't score. Are you sure?Apparently McBurnie has been brought here for "link up" play and not to score goals
Wasn't a regular starter under Hecky's caretaker tenure or Slav. Fell out of favour eventually under Wilder. That's 3."He's not been a regular starter under 3 different managers". So which three managers were you talking about?
That was McBurnie's first game back since a long stint out with Covid. It's not exactly reasonable to suggest he should have started.
On the given evidence, I might not be very good at this but I'm certainly better than you.
Wasn't a regular starter under Hecky's caretaker tenure or Slav. Fell out of favour eventually under Wilder. That's 3.
Logic. Lol. Not because the penny had dropped?Under Hecky's caretaker tenure he wasn't a regular starter? Were you really expecting him to play with a broken foot?
So now it's not that he wasn't a regular starter under Wilder, it's that he eventually fell out of favour. Which the facts don't really demonstrate as he started 8 of the first 12 games before he got injured. Granted he then only started 3 of Wilder's last 8 games in charge and logic would say that's probably because he was working back to full fitness but I'm sure you are absolutely correct![]()
Logic. Lol. Not because the penny had dropped?
When he's been fit and available for selection he's not been picked by Wilder, Hecky, Slav and Hecky again. Do you disagree? No injury, no covid, just fit and available for selection. Yes or no?So no comment on how incorrect the rest of your post was then?
are you blind? Go watch the 2nd goal and see how much involvement he had in that. From our own half, left wing, middle of the final third and right side. The whole passing move pretty much went through him15 mins on Friday. Did well. Influenced the game.
25 mins tonight. Ambled around and reverted to type. Zero influence on the game.
I’ll tell it how it is. Not how some would wish it to be !

Let's be fair #125 only mentions it, in a fairly loose, highly subjective and reductive way.Covered at #125 by another poster.

You don't change a winning side. That genius?Yes I disagree as you’ve completely ignored the fact that he wasn’t fit under Hecky the first time. Under Wilder has was consistently picked to start, it was only when he was injured that he wasn’t. He started more games during those two season than any of our other strikers. You can try to change history as much as you like.
In the words of the forum genius, you’re not very good at this are you.

How are all these blind crackheads (in your views) managing to find their way to the back of the kop in your honest opinion?Covered at #125 by another poster.

Wrong (I can’t say wether he was thought to be no good with SJ but that is not the case before and after SJHe started regularly until it became obvious he wasn't as good as the management had hoped. So when fit and available pre and post covid why is he still viewed as a bit part player? We needed a goal scorer. His record with us says he isn't one.
After last night possibly but it won’t be the same team at the weekend.Necessity through injuries you mean?
