If it’s about bias, he’s a Grunter. The realisation that not everyone loves them and in fact there’s a dastardly referees and EFL plot against them must be hard to take. Especially as Granddad has only just started mentioning it.

As to United, he always seemed pretty balanced.

Every 4 mins he proceeded to constantly ramble on about where people were listening from. He has a job to do- commentary on a match, nobody cares or wants to know where other listeners are. i had to switch to the Derby feed after 70 mins.! He really is fucking shit !

I'm a lifelong Blade ,in fact since 1956..... if VAR was at the Pigs -Luton match it would have been a different score ..that's certain . However I - MUCH - prefer no VAR . The pen given against Wendy looked correct to me in the modern interpretation , the winning goal was an absolute nailed on hand ball...it rolled down his arm LOL.. We would be going mad I have to say . Still nice to enjoy a Sheffield Double ... no doubt we will be robbed at some point and to be fair I think Staton would say so .

I was quite surprised that he mentioned people watching on Firesticks and from parts of the world - like Wickersley, and Norfolk Park - where I thought it was kind of illegal to stream the game due to the blackout rules, even if you use a VPN to get around it and legitimately pay for the stream.

Someone needs to explain to the pigs that you have to actually get into the opponents box to give yourself the chance of a penalty being awarded. The only time the pigs get in the box is usually through some big punt up to that useless lump Smith - very rare for any team to get penalties from that sort of play.

As to United, he always seemed pretty balanced.

Don’t think he is balanced, always seems to be pro United, he was bigging up our players tonight, he said both Arblaster and Peck could go on to be big PL players and it would take a huge fee for United to sell one of them.

He also said we’re currently playing like an auto promotion team and he doubts West Brom will last the pace.

He often seems to belittle Wednesday and slag off Chansiri. Last week he was slagging off Hillsboro saying that even their South stand won’t be fit for purpose in 30 years. He said SW have little option but to move stadium. He also regularly slags off the SW Academy whilst praising the SU Academy.

Many on Owlstalk called it Radio Sheffield United and think Staton is bias against them.
