It's time to pick ourselves up and dust ourselves off after the cruel disappointment of the weekend and look towards next Saturday's match at home to Tottenham Hotspur.

Will Colin Kazim-Richards come back into the team? Will any of our new signings make their debut?

It could be a tricky one with Spurs suffering a stuffing at the hands of Manchester United yesterday.

This is the place for all your Spurs match chat...

The pressure will all be on Spurs after yesterday. Hopefully that will act in our favour.

Without King I don't think they're anything special at the back so let's go at them. Get Fathi/CKR in on the right and put Del back to RB. Other than that, no need for changes. Jags should remain at CB.

My main worry is that we always give the opposition a few sights at goal. We can afford to do that against West Ham, Watford and Charlton but the likes of Berbatov, Defoe (is he fit?) and Keane won't miss many.

I wonder if Warnock will see the threat of Lennon as just cause to stick with his "deffender playing wide midfield" tactic...

Personally i would swtich Geary to right back to try and combat Lennons pace and bring Bromby back in at right back.

I think it would be too risky throwing Fathi straight into the team so would go with the same midfield and forward line that started against Fulham.

If i were picking the team i would go with :

Kenny GK
Geary LB (to combat lennon)
Jags CB
Lucky CB
Bromby RB
Squinny LM
Tonge CM
Monty CM
CKR RM
Hulse CF
Stead CF

I think we should be giving Fathi and Shelton an opportunity. If only as subs.

Get Kozzy out the side, replace him with Geary.
Make sure Squinny is helping out stretch with Lennon on their wing.

Jeans looks to be back in their midfield for sat, so thats a bonus for us.

I think we can scrape all 3 points out of this one.

didnt know we could have two right backs

I was under the impression that Geary played on the right of midfield with kozluk at right back against blackburn therefore i would switch Geary from right midfield to full back. i was at the game but consumed a lot of alcohol afterwards so please correct me if i am wrong (as if you need to be asked).

i think the teams are still a way off being decided as yet. Mainly because of the midweek internationals. spurs have 4 in the englans squad and mido and ghaly with egypt. Not too sure what roles the england guys will play but the egyptians will be in the squad against sweden. i dont think we have as many players away on international duty so hopefully our starting XI will remain pretty much untouched.

ah yes i see, Geary to left back as lennon plays right wing was what i was meaning to say.

Looks like someone is suffering the after effects of a good weekend away ;)

I would like pretty much same team which beat fulham except geary in at left back, kozluk at right back meaning armstrong dropped not for performances but i would feel more comfortable with geary taking lennon!

I have a feeling we could get a cheeky draw!

I think we will pull of a win saturday. Can see it been a good un!

I'm really trying to not slate kozluk too much but i can't see how he should retain his place after his performance at the weekend.

Agree that Geary should line up against Lennon (after some confusion:) ) but i would prefer to see Bromby at right back. He may not offer us much going forward but he is less of a liability then kozzy who, by my reckoning, has cost us 2 goals in his last 2 games (i know i said i didn't want to slate him).

I would be made up with a point from this game, a lot depends on how spurs react to a very poor result yesterday.

dont think well get anything but hey didnt think so against arsenal or newcastle either and look what happened there :) it will be very very tough probably our hardest game thus far

I wouldnt like bromby or kozluk to be honest leaving Sommiel who i would rather die than play him :p

I wa going to say jags in at right back morgan n lucketti in center but jags n lucky have played so well together cant move them and CB is jags best position!

My thoughts on the subject exactly, I would hate to break up Jags and Lucky because they are currently the best centre back partnership we have had for a long time. Plus if Warnock starts moving Jags around again we will eventually end up with him back in the middle of the park.

It’s a tough call really but I expect Warnock will go with Geary at left back and Kozluk at right back.

geary will be left wing to counteract lennon

Three centre backs, Morgs & Lucky, with Jags as libero picking off Spuds through balls & the wide attacks, defensive support by.... two wide men (Squinny & CKR- pace!), Monty & Tonge & Fathi midfield, then Stead & Hulse up top. Thats my team, anyway, not that we'll see it. The wide players should be exhausted after an hour, so use Shelton & Nade/Webber as subs given 1/2 hr....

3-1 Blades!

phil o'sophical if we beat spurs 3-1 ill give all the girls and boys a special treat by streaking

Surely we haven't forgotten about the legendary 6-0 scoreline we inflicted upon Spurs 15 years ago? :D

And yes get Geary marking Lennon, he's done a fantastic job this season the little man has.

I remember Franz Carr scoring a nice goal from a difficult angle and spurs wearing a rather fetching sky blue kit...i would settle for the same scoreline this weekend :-)

Jocky Bryson helped himself to two goals too.
I was at the front of the Kop and it was a fantastic game :D
