O'Connell is out. Maybe as you've omitted Mcburnie he could slot seamlessly into CB for his immense defensive heading ability.

I am fully aware of the absence of O'Connell, this is a full fit and fully working spine, not a John Merrick spine

Ampadu is a talented player with good skills and positional sense .

However , he lacks ability in the air and this showed up several times in the Leeds match . Had either Egan or O’Connell been there , I doubt very much that Bamford would have got his head on that cross which cost us the game .
