i tried to get a ticket for Sunday a couple of weeks ago but I was too late. Just got one on line this morning. It is costing me an arm and a leg to fly from Alicante to Nottingham on Saturday and then back to Spain on Sunday at 1750. However, I have been a Blade too long to miss this game and the celebrations afterwards. I have been to far too many matches in this pub league and I am overjoyed that this is the last one and we are going back to the Championship and then the Premier League where we belong. COYRAWW.

Your not leaving much time to get back to the airport !

Great to hear you're sorted though .

Won't be too much celebrating if the flight home is at 10 to 6...braver man than me in terms of pushing it for time!

Wish I could afford to live in Spain.

Fair play mate , Ive cut it fine flight wise before .
We were the last 2 on the plane v Uddersfield in play off final .
So now fly in early 6.30 to Manchester with 10.30 flight back , however for Sunday , not flying home till Monday afternoon .
Its not to bad flying into east midlands , bus stops right outside terminal then right outside Derby train station , on a regular basis .
Enjoy the game and safe journey Blade .

Annoyingly I'm just going the opposite way from BDTBL to Spain as I booked a holiday without checking the sodding fixture list!

You in Benidorm by any chance? I'll be there the week after the Chessie game, staying at a cheap place in the Old Town then flying back to Donny the night before the Brook fight. I only paid 53 quid for the (one way) flight. Give me a shout if you fancy a beer in Beni.

I have hired a car from the airport . The journey is one hour one minute on a route planner from s24su. I only have hand luggage and I have bought a priority seat with Ryanair. I need to be in the airport by 1650 which gives me enough ime to do it I think. The round trip has cost me about 300 euros and that is without the cost of an overnight room or evening meal as I am staying with friends. I live in Benitachell on the Costa Blanca for about five months of the year. I still managed a load of games both at BL and away. This year included BR and Oxford which were both nightmares for traffic. Swindon was the easiest to get to as I live in Wiltshire. UTB.

What time do you land? I live in Chorlton near airport and will be driving over for the game. I'm not coming straight back so wouldn't be able to give you a lift back but could certainly take you across to a sheffield if you need

joshin top Blade. Have you got a lift sorted from the airport to BDTBL?

I've done that flying back to go to a football match. It's expensive but I think for a game like this where it is just going to be one big party it will be worth it. Assume you checked out flying to Manchester as an alternative option? I travel a lot on business and nearly always use Manchester because there are so many more flights going in and out of there than East Midlands. More competition - lower prices usually. But, if you leave it late to book, i.e. less than 2 weeks away, you'll get stung on price. That trip would probably be about £120 return if booked in advance. Book late and it could be two, three or four times that.

Anyhow good on you for digging deep to join the party and safe trip.
