Isn’t it about time someone popped up with the bright idea to pump artificial “atmosphere” through the loudspeaker system ?
UTB
Strange how things change though as in a few years he'll be ok with going with you again.
Then fast forward a little bit further and you'll be organising seats for your grandkids as well (my grandsons are just 2 so not too far off)
Great to spend time/experiences with your family AND watch the Blades as well.
What's not to like.
Westfield Upper is where its happening these dsys.
Mental up there at times.
You fluent in Mandarin Chinese yet?
All they do on the Kop is moan about legroom, getting rained on and paddling in piss.
At least we don't argue about whose turn it is to get the Werthers in.
Decent forecast Satdi Sean Thornton, so you shouldn't need the flask and tartan rug.
Cough mixture, bonbons, aniseed balls, pear drops, Mkat.
Is there some sort of space rationing in your care home?
It is normal grammatical practice to insert spaces after commas and before the next word, but maybe the dribbles on the screen obscured your view.
If you want an actual atmosphere I would suggest avoiding Bramall lane and just attending away games.Hello all, advice please.
Been sitting on family stand for a few seasons now with the boy, got really decent seats right on halfway line about halfway up the stand (basically opposite the posh seats on South Stand). Only problem is not much atmosphere so the boy who is now a teenager wants to move. I prefer to watch the match from the side so the kop is out, question is, is the atmosphere much better on South Stand as looking at the seats available on the ticketing site we will be right off to one side (either Bramall Lane end or kop end). I don't want to give our great seats up for nowt.

Atmosphere is non existant on the south stand tbh. I sit right on the half way line next to the directors box.
Once the Norwich directors rather rudely over celebrated stealing a one nil utter time wasted win and that raised a somewhat heated atmosphere. We all subsequently received letters threatening that if any such like behaviour was to occur again, we would be moved to the kop!
Apart from moaning and clapping yes it pretty much isIt's not actually "non existent" though is it?

Being in the posh seats you won't see anyone singing. Plenty do around me - annoying if l'm honest - but we do stand up for goals and cheer. Not quite the same as shouting at a fat bloke in a suit in the directors box l know, but it's still atmosphere.
It's the Chinese that are the problem. Fucking lightweights .
Seriously I think the South stand is ok in the noise stakes, especially the lane end. I sit in the Westfield and there's good noise from my right.
There are no Chinese in the ground. Ever. I made it up, or so I was fervently told....
